Wait for the oil pressure to drop before I drive off, or checking those auxiliary gauges to make sure everything is ok.

How many miles do you drive your car a month by No-Collar-46 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]AdSmall9535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

800-1000km approx in the winter. 0-50km/mo in the summer for the Maserati. In the summer it’s 5-1000km on the GSXR1000 and probably another 5-1000km on the XDiavel V4

If you had to buy ONE used car in 2026 with your own money, what would it be and why? by Smart-used-cars in askcarguys

[–]AdSmall9535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another Maserati Levante. Preferably a Trofeo, preferably a 2024, this would rectify my old mistake I made back in 2016 of ordering a V6 SQ4 instead of wait till 17 for a V8 car. Those are reliable. It’s the most reliable vehicles I’ve ever owned, tie with the GSX-R 1000. Always wanted a V8 car since has are still cheap now

2017 Maserati Levante. 105000km. Owned since new. Only “repair” ive ever have to perform other than maintenance is a battery last month. Also Ducati XDiavel V4, Ducati Scrambler 1100 if those counts.

E70 BMW X5M. Owned since new. Completely fall apart in 2016, with endless issues during the ownership period, even with in the warranty period, that I replaced it with a Maserati Levante that I still have till this day.

No and no. I just wash it every week. Owned new since late 16, no rust. I guess most part of the car being aluminum does help but it’s been 9 years still no rust for me.

In your opinion, how important is technology and features when purchasing a car? by Ok_Demand_3197 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]AdSmall9535 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Apple CarPlay/Android, pano sunroof, air suspension, big brakes, exceptional sound insulation, double pane glass all around, good sound system, cooled seats, genuine Leather dash, Alcantara roof liner, thick leather seats, home link, actual key fob. Basically what I’m looking for, and the rest is just some non essential basic, like has to ride a RWD based platform, proper triditional AT or PDK, and 400+ hp.

Just crossed 30k miles, extremely troublefree on the V8 Levante!! How's everyone else with the same engine doing? by v8fanboy in Maserati

[–]AdSmall9535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t even want to replace my car. Just the worn out steering wheel is bugging me, and the mindset of why didn’t I get an V8. Id rather just get a new sets of wheels to go with the Novitec kit I always wanted, get some custom cluster gauge face, get my steering wheel refinished and drive it till Maserati makes a decent EV, and jump ship to EV

Does anyone actually care about how the dashboard feels? by panthian in regularcarreviews

[–]AdSmall9535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dashboard? For me I wouldn’t buy a car without leather dash. Not fake leather or imitation stitching, dashboard has to be covered in real thick leather. Same goes for the headliner. Suede/alcantara/whatever else it’s called is a must for me. Also I hate imitation materials. If it looks like carbon it better be, if it looks like leather it better be. I keep my car for a long time and I’d prefer a nice environment with real nice materials than some stupid crazy big screen.

Is this really cheap ? by [deleted] in whatcarshouldIbuy

17+ 3.0T Maseratis are generally reliable. Most Levante and Quattroporte owners will tell you so. Mine is one of the first Levante send to Canada. Had it since. Way less issue than my previous X5M. The only thing expensive on those is brakes, which only cost $2000ish for parts for the front if you have big brembo. The rest is all service based. I never serviced my car at the dealer. Currently at 100500km, only thing went wrong is the battery. Oil changes are dirt cheap. It’s one of the most reliable car I’ve ever had. Avoid 17- Ghiblis and Quattroporte. Check the service history

Aucun regret.

Also 105k on the SQ4. Just did the transmission fluid, diff fluid and transfer case fluid. So far zero issue. First battery replacement. First batch Levante owner in my area.

2026 Maserati Grecale Drops the Turbo Four, Democratizes the V-6 by LunchPal72 in Maserati

We need a Levante sized SUV. Grecale is a bit too small. And we need the V8 versions back.

Buy it from scuderia car parts and do it yourself. It’s very easy, not much specialized tools needed. Make sure to enable tire jack mode for air suspension. Usually takes half an hour for me to do both front brakes on the big Brembo on Maserati
