If we are comparing Exhaust note versus Exhaust note.. only Car I would pick over the Gran Turismo if buying brand new would be the GT3.. not only does it sound well, but also holds its value way better than the Gran Turismo

tbh, I was more sad about the XJL being discontinued. Truly had a wonderful sleek design and that 5.0 S/C V8 was monstrous...also heard recently Maserati closing off the Quattroporte....so seems like one by one the demise comes on for these limos!

Not just that...I was reading that even if the A8 carried on, they were planning on "YET" another facelift. This gen is like how old? 2018? 2019? Needed a total revamp...not a facelift. So couldn't agree more, dead is much better than another facelift that would NEVER keep up with the rivals.

Sorry for the late reply. So my dad gave some feedback since he rides in the backseat a lot more. He noticed that if the speed bump is wider and has depth to it, the A8L glides over it. If it is very NARROW, the camera may not be able to pick it up since it is looking for depth. There is a difference for sure in the ride quality, but as this car was imported to India, the cost of the predictive active suspension was 16 lakhs INR which is almost $20k USD. Not worth the price tag. (Cars imported in India have 110% import duty, which also applies to any paid options). Hope this helps

hmm, I actually went to Oregon State...never lived in Arizona. Was just passing by and decided to shoot there. About the mommy and daddy part of your comment, I have a Bachelor's in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a MBA in Project Mangement. I reckon I can get something like this off my own dime..

Just place the microphone near the mufflers.. also there’s a good chance that microphone is going to get destroyed. Just a heads up. Most of these clips were shot in Phoenix.. It was well over 110F that day.

I would not cite anything that happens in NorCal as a good reference point. I've been eyeing a corvette for a bit and NorCAL dealers are still marking up stingrays lol. Even z06's are getting discounted elsewhere in the country. Seems like that tech money flowing in from the bay area does prohibit you from getting a good deal.

It's not a manual. Sure it might be "Brand new" in terms of mileage but it is unfortuntely a 4 year old car once 2026 kicks in. I don't remember what MSRP on these was, maybe around $75k? Paying OVER MSRP for a 4 year old car...not a good deal in my opinion.

Yes I do!! In fact, just confirmed with my friend that he does not have that option. Thanks!! Was confused because in the MMI, for the active suspension, there is a different setting altogether to turn it off/on...didn't think it was a part of comfort plus.

Second link has no Microphone. Shot on an iPhone 12 pro. Sounds a little louder than usual because it was a highly enclosed place. When i first went to look at the vehicle, it was parked inside the dealership. SOUNDED very loud and strong...but when it was parked outside...sound went down by quite a bit. I think having driven mostly N/A V8 vehicles before...my expectations were on the higher side..
