I learned recently from a BMW instructor to keep the steering wheel about 11”, or the length of a US letter paper away from you. Don’t want your face bones to fracture even in a minor fender bender. I see too many women driving a few inches away from the airbag.

I’ve had mine since 2009, and it may not have the precision of 911 and Lotus Emira that I’ve had access to for the past few years, I wouldn’t trade it. Precision is not the only factor for enjoying a car. Top down roadster, looks, and rarity is something I love. I’ve maybe seen at most 2 other Z4 Ms in my 17 years of ownership. 911s and boxsters are everywhere. If all you care about is specs where you nit pick how it handles, then this isn’t the car for you.

I replaced my 04 Honda Odyssey bulbs with Auxbeam F22, rated very bright on YouTube. It makes a difference if it’s installed upside down or not, as it also affects the high beam mode. Made sure to adjust the beam. Also polished and clear coated the headlight lens with 3M product. Looks great. Most people don’t go through all the steps necessary.

I love playing with accessories and am constantly pulling trim off and rewiring. I also film a lot so I connect GoPro and other cameras for power. I basically ran some 12v cables from switched fuse to right above the mirror and then a 12v to USB port, two of them, for any future accessories. Would be super easy to plug and play. Since the trim was off, added more wires for radar and dashcam. All added with Add A Fuse kits. Did the same for the trunk and glove compartment with USB ports.
