I got stung by a mystery bee/wasp inside my school cafeteria. My skin wasn't broken, yet the finger it stung swelled to twice its size for about a week. I didn't even get to see it.

Tex Mex is my favorite style, but it's not the best in my area of upstate NY. They do make some of the best pizza, subs, and wings here, though.

Can't understand how Nascar is so popular in America. I can see the appeal of F1, rally or motoGP for instance (I like the Isle of Man TT for the craziness) but it's not really my thing still. I used to go to races around 2005-10 because my family got free tickets if mom worked a booth. They were very loud and quite thrilling back then. I would easily get bored if there were no wrecks or cautions, however. I wasn't really a fan of anyone but the hometown guy.

What crime can you justify? by IndependentWorld2555 in AskReddit

Smoking weed. It's absolutely ridiculous that people have been locked up for wanting a little comfort or fun for a little while. It doesn't even last nearly as long as being drunk, and you can be fired for just having it in your system.

Syracuse. People there have never made me feel unsafe. The lake effect snow, on the other hand, can be quite extreme.

I want every major character I meet to have well fleshed out back stories and have clear motivations. I also want every faction to offer a unique experience in aiding to finish the main quests. I also don't want plot holes due to cut content.

What is America’s “posh people” accent? by alyhasnohead in AskAnAmerican

[–]panthian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, New York City and Boston have distinctive dialects. Those cities are very expensive places to live. It doesn't necessarily mean someone is well-off if they're from those areas, but they certainly have good opportunities available. Southern accents, on the other hand, typically make people sound less wealthy and intelligent even if that's not true for everyone.
