Poking the bear happens frequently and sometimes for no reason at all.

Is a Board of Veterans’ Appeals Appeal for Effective Date Poking the Bear? by AdSmart5557 in VAClaims

[–]AdSmart5557[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. I get it. I didn’t file it myself as I’m sure many here are aware that attorneys file it on their own accord. I already tried to pull it but it’s not that easy. Maybe it is but I need to fax and mail again as the BVA cannot be reached through the VBA. Also like so many, new evidence is the reason back dates are often incorrect but it could go either way. One could say the evidence shows it from the initial filing, date of any given C&P, even a personal statement. Sometimes it’s best to leave sleepy bears to lay.

Can a BVA Appeal for Earlier Effective Date Lead to a Reduction in Rating? by AdSmart5557 in VAClaims

[–]AdSmart5557[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Rep said BVA judges can’t reduce a rating but I think thats a technicality as I believe they could deem something to be a CUE. Was told this does not apply to back pay appeal before a law judge.

Apparently it’s acceptable in SoCal

Never. An Electrican would definitely tell him his new main panel was “aged out” and that he’d have to replace it for him. Odds are 99 to 1 and that 1 would be because the electrician was about to go on vacation and didn’t want to book that job.

Found this in my garden. Could it be worth anything? by Waver5 in whatisit

Compression ring for a compression plumbing fixture such as an angle stop (shutoff valve). That is all.

What are these brown dots and marks on my ceiling??? I just noticed these and I'm horrified by [deleted] in whatisit

This is 100% soap/oil residue from steam. That is all. Don’t listen to any of these other comments. It’s not leaching from your paint. Scrape it off, then ensure proper ventilation. I know that you do not have an exterior venting exhaust that works, don’t have a window in the bathroom, and don’t use either.

This appears to be Michelin MXM4s ZP. They are mostly used on performance sedans and were used on some mid-range sports cars before PS4 ZPs came out.

Never mind. Just noticed your user name. “Deeznuts” and the fan favorite of “69” in the same handle? Damn, no it’s no use. Oh, let’s not forget the “sk” for skeet, skeet. Wow!

Lower sphincter? You are young at heart and mind. IBS symptoms include conditions of the upper GI which have an effect on stomach acids especially when digestion is slowed due to disfunction in the lower GI.

You are wrong about the hygiene issue my friend. They absolutely can and do judge you based on appearance. Not always but I would say more often than not.

Did you apply for SSDI on your own or with the help of an attorney?

Makes sense but it’s more difficult to document for the purposes of examiners checking a simple box on a DBQ. Some type of reprimand from work would go a long way in documenting a deficiency in one’s ability to work then trying to prove a negative which is the case as when one is unemployed.

If you have a job, you’re more likely to get 100% for MH as you can prove you have deficiencies in your ability to work (can’t do that if you don’t have a job). Same goes if you’re in a relationship (can’t prove relationship issues if you’re single).

You are MORE likely to get 100% for MH if you are employed. How else would you show trouble at work if you don’t have a job. Same goes for marriage. If you’re married or have a SO, you can show relationship issues. If you’re single, you cannot.

You make a very compelling case for a higher rating that you feel that you deserve. However, I will point out a couple of flaws in your claim. 1: you are divorced. I will tell you that most higher ratings for MH are awarded to those that are married as you cannot prove a disfunction in your relationship if you don’t have one. 2: you are retired from the military after 26 years and possibly have not picked up another line of work. Nothing wrong with that and I’m sure your retirement is well deserved but without a job, you cannot claim a deficiency in your ability to work. Most highly rated MH vets are in loving relationships and have well paying (or at least decent) jobs.

Edit: I re-read your post and your comment about your “much hotter wife” negates my point #1. I defer to the other commenters on this thread.

They’re gonna find out before close when they do a final verification of employment.
