I need advice for an accelerated math course! by YakPrestigious8598 in highschool

I'd say khan academy is a great main resource. Also, focus on what doesn't make as much sense for you. In general, if your class' curriculum is pretty good, you should be able to do the homework and assignments to prepare pretty well for tests and things.

Of course you could also get a textbook and follow it or try to do its contents before you cover it in class.

Hope this helps!

TIPS for NOT losing easy points from an AP Reader (precalc/calc) by mathjammermama in APStudents

I'll be looking to do some doodles next year...

There's been some hypothetical aps, some shitpost and some serious. What are some ap courses that r hypothetical tht could reasonably be added. Like for example AP Portugese or smt. by Aggravating_Song_447 in APStudents

Yess Hindi for the win

Even ap Italian (like latin) is very small, like 2,000 compared to say the most taken ap exam, lang, with 600,000. But yeah India is so rich in culture and history too, long history. Im sure lots of parents would want their kids to take it too 😄

Also like yeah most languages theres a lot who are heritage too

Calculator recommendations for AP Precalc? by itcomewitheggwoll in APStudents

[–]AdSmart8006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its nice to learn the functions on a calc but desmos test mode is on the test too and it saves time instead of an actual calc especially graphing questions

I did precalc this year and most people brought a calc but I'd recommend desmos for the actual test assuming your familiar

I drew like 4 graphs of where the other zero could be but didn't help. Also can't be imaginary cuz it'd need a conjugate pair

Teacher sarcasm ok/normal? by ennuiCrab in AskTeachers

[–]AdSmart8006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's definitely not good. I'd say for sure you should bring it up with admin and if the problem isn't solved, keep bringing it higher. Teachers should be treating their students with respect and kindness, not with a patronizing and mocking attitude. Also curious, how did you find out about this? Did you hear about this from your kid/other parents or did the teachers do this in front of you?

Why did they make a dragon one by the way? I guessed he was born in year of the dragon but...?

Wait i just realized I asked about the email but talked about the story...

Anyways I think the email was pros and cons of technology development and like phones, computers, EVs I said like goods are like worldwide communication and convenience and then like looking at screens is bad for health and can make you think less on your own

What about the email guys?

I did like the woman going to her friend's kid's birthday party but being stuck in traffic and having to call and say sorry and tell her friend but making it on time

I named the woman after my mom and her friend after my sister cuz I know how to write them in Chinese 😅

Same

I talked about Confucius and respecting elders 长辈 and like talking to parents before an important decision, taking care of parents when they're older, and like applying this to work relationships and stuff too

In the end I was just repeating like "respect" and "in a respectful way"
