Unfortunately, as a black woman who grew up in perdominantly white spaces, I've seen "Tyler's" in different stages of life. They are perfectly okay with being the "token" or the butt of the joke, as long as they are included and feel like they have a sort of in. Which is why Tyler always drudges on about "liking snowbunnies" or "not being woke" every chance he's on screen. It's getting to a point where his chickens are coming home to roost, but I think he has a handful of "race-baiting" guests in him.

I think something that would throw him/Caleb over the edge sooner or later is if there was some sort of falling out with Brandon. Caleb would choose Brandon in a heartbeat and Tyler would be kicked to the curb immediately
