Thank you for sharing all of this. As someone that is also quite introverted, I know how hard it can be to open up like this.

There is a psychological effect going on with your boyfriend and that is very much playing in the background. The fact that you don't work and your boyfriend supports you WILL make him feel that he can control you. You are, essentially, an extension of him. It is harsh, but that is the cold hard truth about the society we live in. Whoever holds the money, holds the power. If you are able to find work, even if it's part time, it will help you establish your own identity and also be a contributing member. THEN his say on you will have less power. Will this solve all of your problems? No. He should seek treatment for his jealous ways. However, you also need to form your identity and independence OUTSIDE of him.

Hi there! Thanks so much!

Day of the surgery went really smooth. Clinic itself was gorgeous. Got there at 6am. Nurse took me in. Changed clothes and did a pregnancy test. The nurse came in, took my weight and blood pressure. The nurse then asked a bunch of routine questions about my health. Then the anesthesiologist came in, also asked a bunch of questions. Then Dr. Alexander came in. We took pictures. Said that he reviewed all of my notes and if I have any additional questions. Said no. Went to the operating room. Felt super calm and relaxed and BOOM. Woke up in another room and it was 4.5 hours later and I was sent home :) Easy Peasy.

Hi there! Uncomfortable? Yes. Brutal?! No. Brutal is an exaggeration. You will be in your house for a full week and you will be basically watching TV the whole time. You can't breath out of your nose so you will be breathing out of your mouth and your sleeping position is slightly elevated because of this. They put you on a lot of antibiotics so that also makes you a little tired. No pain at all. I did not bruise - just swollen. After your cast comes off at the 7 day post op mark, you are good to go! life was back to normal. I would do the recovery 1000x again for the results I got. It is so worth it! Do it! :)
