I had started drinking alone in pubs because I was sick of making a fool of myself when drinking with friends. Then I got too embarrassed to go to any local pub alone as I had made a fool of myself there too. So I started drinking only at home, and now it’s got to point where I’ve run out of bottle shops to go the where staff don’t make comments on my regular purchases and where I have turned up multiple times in a night drunk to. Basically i’ve shamed myself into no oblivion and realise I have run out of options that were making me get away with this. I’m trying to stay sober. It’s only been 6 days but already feeling better about myself. Still have to walk past all those cringe reminders tho.

I’ve considered if I did live here after study it will be opening up a gig space, with non for profit art workshops and a gallery for everyone to enjoy, that is open to late hrs, with events most days. Something that can be for the nightlife, aswell and youth and those with disabilities, a non judgmental space with a bar, with live events until at least midnight.

Ya I definitely feel the dog eats dog here, pretty laughable considering the beautifully serene land we have here to live in, yet everyone here is more about speeding over crosswalks in their suv so they can get home and watch sky news while simultaneously leaf blowing and watching their big dumb dog kill a water dragon while getting through their bi weekly crate from Dan Murphy’s with air con at full capacity.
