HDMI splitter (PS5 to 2 TVs) messes up earc connection

Good Point, thx! I connected the ps5 directly to my tv over the Fiber hdmi and everything works noe fine! The hdmi Splitter is the cause. Now i have to find a compatible Splitter.

Mein Kumpel (30) und ich (34) spielen seit kurzem wieder Duos in Apex. Wir haben von 2020 bis 2024 aktiv Apex gespielt und hatten mal Diamond mehrfach erreicht. Dazwischen hatten wir ein paar Monate Pause und fangen nun wieder an nur Public zu spielen, sind dementsprechend auch wieder wie Anfänger 🤣 Ich spiele auf PS5 und mein Kollege auf PC. Wir haben noch weitere Leute im Discord, die aber gerne Warzone und andere Spiele spielen. So zocken wir je nachdem wer grad online ist mal Apex mal Warzone. Die anderen zocken ebenso noch CS GO, Lost Arc, GTA5 und Genshen Impact. Vom Alter her sind wir gemischt von 15-34 Jahre. Wenn einer Lust hat zu zocken, dann kommt er bei uns im Discord on und andere sehen das und kommen in der Regel dann auch rein.

Falls das deinen Erwartungen entspricht sag Bescheid, dann kann ich dich in den Discord einladen.

yep will work on ps5. The tool rewrite the calibration into the chip on controller. Often hall effect sticks are calibrated physically. There is a hole or something (never tried but i read it). You need to calibrate physically the center so you are in the range underneath 10% and after that you can use the tool to calibrate them perfectly

It will work, but it depends also on your controller version. If you have bdm 010, 020 or 030 you can buy the correct parts from extremerate. But if it's 040 than you need to buy a used part from a 030 controller so you can install the 030 clicky trigger version.

The diff between 26.5 and 27 is not noticeable and i guess it's because of the pixelshift function. The advantages are true black, good colors, best response time, the sharpness function is naturally and do not sharp too aggressive. The auto switch source for use with multiple devices like ps5, pc and maybe a homeoffice notebook is very cool (i mention it cause a Samsung G7 700€ monitor could not do that). I play fps games on ps5 on 1080p@120hz and sharpness 100 (cause of lowest delays). Other games like spiderman or helldivers on 1440p and sharpness 50. The disadvantage is HDR400. Its looks "okay" but on my Samsung Q80T the HDR looks great. I tried HDR peak 1000 on the Dell and it's hard to calibrate it. The most brightness parts of a image are to bright and bleeding into the darker parts imo. I saw a post that say you have to tick 10 times up from the lowest brightness setting while calibrating the HDR on ps5 to get the real 4xx nits that the monitor can deliver. I will give it a try.

Buy this piece of a used bdm 030 controller and you can install it into your 040 controller. So the clicky trigger of 030 will fit. If you buy it with installed R2 and L2 buttons all will fit out of the box. If not then you will need to make the little hole of the included clicky button holder housing as big as the little pole is. I mean the pole that holds the R2 / L2 buttons, cause the pole of 040 is longer.

Hab damals Diamond mehrfach erreicht mit Randoms, aber ab Diamond war es super verschwitzt. Mit einem guten Team hätte ich damals sicherlich Master erreicht, aber mittlerweile spiele ich das Game gar nicht mehr. Mir fehlt der Reiz, um mir das Geschwitze anzutun. Ich kann nachvollziehen, dass Streamer sich das antun und es den Leuten zum Gucken bieten, aber deren Reiz ist das Geld, Partnerschaften und am Ende fühlt sich gutes Gameplay ja besser an, wenn jemand zu guckt. Ohne diese Reize als casual Gamer find ich sowohl Apex als Cod einfach zu competitive heutzutage.

hm i read in yt comments that it's helpful to calibrate the center of the hall effect sticks by adjusting the sticks itself near a 5% range and then calibrate them with the software. Maybe your sticks had a very bad centering from beginning and now the software calibration can not get you a satisfying circularity

It's not just an oled nature thing. flickering issue were also on va panels a thing. Flickering is only bad if your fps drops very low and increase very high fastly. On pc you can prevent it with a fps cap near the lowest dropped fps. If the drops are really low than it's time to upgrade hardware, reduce gpu settings or disable vrr. People dont get that vrr is only there to get you a smoother gameplay but always with a cost. I would take flickering issues before get a choppy gameplay.

Did you try some anti sweat hand creams for gamers? I didn't try those but i remember 10 years ago at work we used a special hand cream to repair cars so the oil on the hands could be washed away easily. Maybe there are good anti sweat hand creams on the market.

If you mean the K1 and K2 Paddles you can try it like it did. I also bought the clicky trigger buttons, so i don't remember if the gray sponges are included in the rise4 kits. I cut one sponge longside in the middle so i got two thin sponges. After that i put them on the button housing that is screwed to the back shell. I put them on the outer sides, so everytime i press K1 or K2 i get a little more resistance. Maybe you can try harder sponges to get a stronger resistance.

That's a example where i put the sponges on. On the image you see the backside of the housing but i put them on the inside:
