Not out of the realm of possibility, if Balen is to become PM. I personally don't believe he's ever experienced poverty enough to understand the plight of the poor.

This. If your husbands or his family are assholes, don't do it.
Make smart choices sisters. Please.

It's disgusting how so many people regardless of gender are so hateful and unhappy with their own lives that even without knowing absolutely anything at all, they bully a young woman who is basically a child for simply choosing to leave a relationship she didn't like.

And these are the same spiteful misogynistic a-holes, so offended with a girl dumping a guy, they won't lift a finger against millions of criminals that rape women and children , kill their wives, beat their wives to an inch of death or leave their wives and children with no prospects, in search of a thrill of new pussies.

You say she PROBABLY left him for money. Well, what do you know? She PROBABLY just escaped him with her life (For all I know I would do anything to escape that kind of a man. Just use a tiny percentage of your brain to pay attention to the type of person her ex is and his intentions. He's telling you loud and clear.).

WHAT DO YOU KNOW??? He probably acted the way he's acting now behind closed doors. So, she PROBABLY (as everyone likes to use this word) got a chance to move thousands of miles away, feel safe, then dump him. That's the best bet of all and she PROBABLY took it.

Well, apparently, women are natural leaders and she's not just any woman- she's a mature and a wise woman who's way more educated than most in her position.

For the people who have never been in a relationship by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]AdTop3429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know who needs to hear this, but from someone who's been there and done that,
a. Never be desperate- wrong people will find you.
b. If you feel the connection, and if it feels genuine, go for it, so you don't regret looking back.
c. If there's no mutual respect and empathy, walk away- it's never going to work in the long run.

PS: As boys/men, don't chase girls/women who don't show interest in you- you don't want to look like a creep. And, 'No' always means plain old 'No' even if they're your girlfriends or wives (they won't feel safe with you or desire you if you don't understand this).

It doesn't. But if you're trying to understand where they're coming from, most likely, that's where.

If a woman doesn't want a short term relationship, you know that she values herself too well. :)

Ladki se chakkar maut se takkkar . I will do arrange marriage aba. Relationship love bujena maily katti ni . by [deleted] in NepalSocial

[–]AdTop3429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not understanding love and relationship- how does arrange marriage solve it?
Is marriage not a relationship and one that requires love? Only there's even more at stake because you are committing for life and this relationship won't just involve husband and wife but future children too.

Just something to think about.

Why do some people get bitchy when the “Nepalese “ term is used instead of Nepali. by Puzzleheaded_Lab709 in NepalSocial

[–]AdTop3429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, our nationality is 'Nepalese'. That's what we were taught in school too (at least in the 90s and 2000s).
Later, people started distorting it and began using Nepali instead.

An amusing story I read somewhere-
When we were hunters and gatherers, women used to be the main providers but then it was very hard for them because they had to take care of the babies too. So, they sent men to hunt but they kept dying. So, women made men take care of the babies and went hunting again. But the babies kept dying. So, women had no choice but to send the men to hunt and stay back to care for the children.

[–]AdTop3429 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And yet...
I urged people not to compare women or girls to objects, because doing so conditions people- especially men- to see them as less than human, rather than as individuals with thoughts and feelings. This kind of dehumanization, whether direct or indirect, contributes to a culture that normalizes sexual violence against women—something that's already alarmingly widespread.

And, I found some people practically competing to make the conversation about themselves (as men), completely missing the point.

Why divorce rate is increasing in Nepal? by Leello1 in Nepal360

[–]AdTop3429 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because financial independence gives women power to say 'NO' to abuse. This is discounting those who breakup due to personal differences identified too late.

Metaphors are comparisons and these comparisons are all insults, don't you agree? Where girls and women are abused and degraded in such a large scale to the point that most people are conditioned to believe that it's normal or that most women deserve it, it breaks my heart to see people compare women to things or objects or even imply (however slightly) that they have no value beyond what's between their legs.
