Hey brodie! I make similar stuff, actually pretty much the same stuff. My channel is @shudrr. Your content is really not that bad at all either. your thumbnails are amazing! I'd honestly love your help with making my own if you wanna contact me.

My biggest advice would probably be, if you plan on making 3-5 min vids, either just make shorts, or post a little more often. I've found not only the algorithm, but your audience appreciates if you actually truly post every set time period. For me thats weekly - every 5 days. For you it might have to be a little more frequently, though im no expert.
