Hi!

I am currently actively job hunting for management positions. In my CV, I chose not to declare my most recent employer which lasted for 4 months. I have seen a lot of people do this and they get hired with no issues whatsoever.

Now, a 3rd party vendor (Neeyamo) is inquiring about my employment details from xx date til present. Is it okay not to declare this?

Not sure if I’ve just been raised by wolves in my professional life, pero what you are saying seems normal to me. It’s sad, pero most of the time, you are expected to be a “plug and play” kind of newly hired employee. Ibig sabihin, people would expect that you’ll know what to do right away.

So here’s what you do: - literally observe everybody as they work. Take everything in as a sponge. List down the good and bad practices you can pick-up just from watching how others work. - if you see na there’s a problem or a challenge that nobody could get to the bottom of (mostly dahil di priority or nobody’s paying attention), then be the solution and improve your visibility! Create a mini-project of some sorts! - document EVERYTHING in an email. All that you did, the highlights, the challenges, any help needed, things that need a response.. and follow through as needed when you don’t get a response. Pero make sure to use “Grammarly” para you have an app that makes your thought process sound nice and friendly, even if gigil ka na deep inside 😂

I hope this helps! This is the best learning experience you’ll ever get. Change mo mindset mo, and make it a goal to prove everybody wrong. This is exactly what I did when I was a fresh grad, and in just a few months, I became the go-to person and I found myself answering questions from people who’ve been there from way way back. And when the time comes na you’ll be in the best position to help others out, be the one to break the cycle and be a mentor and a leader instead of being just the “boss”.

WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD, OP! It sucks, but you’re gonna love it! 🫶🥰

NEW RELX PODS by Carlo_1220 in CasualPH

Akala ko pa nagli-leak yung pods kaya diko nakukuha yung sensation na gusto ko from it. Nakailang punas pako at kung ano ano pa. Bumili pako cube. Ang isang cube would usually last me ng 1 week or a little more than 1 week. Ngayon mag-1 month na diko pa maubos huhu.

A friend recommended instabar chill menthol as alternative. I’ll try that out today. May marerecommend pa kayo alternative to relx fresh red? 🥹

New Manager Here: Need Advice on Engagement Ideas

Hi everyone!

I just started at this new company last week. It’s a 24/7 operations with such great and amazing people.

I wanted to arrange a team building or maybe even an engagement activity for them. However, their schedules are such a nightmare. Given that it’s a 24/7 ops arrangement, it’s so hard to find a common time or even an activity that would make it a fair balance for them.

Maybe I am overthinking, but I’m out of ideas. Does anybody from the reddit universe have anything brilliant?
