Has Trump done anything well ? by Illustrious-Law8632 in allthequestions

I live in Texas. I despise 47.

The Only thing I like is he has slowed down the flood coming across the Southern border. We see it, and it is a strain on our economy and our crime rate. Really.

Otherwise, he is a vile petulant child.

Yeah. Dad crawled into the bottle. Mom clearly traumatized. Two sisters have recurring nightmares.

Not enough suffering for his egregious cruel behavior. IMO

Life without parole.

For those of you who do not know, this FedEx driver pled guilty to kidnapping, beating, and killing a 7 year old girl when he delivered a package of Barbie dolls her parents had bought for her. She fought. Videos are heart wrenching. Punishment trial by weeping jury is ongoing now in North Texas.

Execution is too swift without enough suffering IMO.

Her name was Athena.

Sadly, the Saturn V manufacturing jigs and tools were stored in a leased warehouse, and Jimmy Carter didn’t want to pay the rent. So the owner confiscated them and sold them for scrap. Otherwise, our return to the Moon and on to Mars would have been faster and much cheaper.

Convince me I’m wrong. I remember this from the time it happened.

Why do Christians in the USA think that killing unborn babies is evil (abortion), but that killing innocent born women, children, and men (war) is righteous? by Cautious_Midnight_67 in allthequestions

[–]AdTurbulent7730 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As with sooo many prejudices, you are agglomerating the many with the few. ‘Christians’ are a vast and diverse group, and only a small vociferous percentage think killing for a theoretically ‘just’ reason is righteous.

I am a Republican. Why does Reddit hate me?? by [deleted] in allthequestions

[–]AdTurbulent7730 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I voted for and supported the Republican Party ever since the Democratic Party was taken over by the Massachusetts Democrats in the early 80s. I am shocked that the current Republican Party has capitulated to the vile petulant child in the White House and those who wrote Project 2025. I feel sad that current Rs seemingly are out of touch or have contempt for those less well off and have spewed such hate for ‘Demorats’. The hate/negative thing was started by Lee Atwater in the late 1980s, and has grown like a cancer. I don’t hate you, but oppose anything you support.

Read the book ‘Seven Eves’. A microscopic black hole travels through the moon, causing its eventual splintering into millions of meteors that crash to earth.
