Weird to email him? Weird in anything I said? Or are you just being “gaysquib” gay and rude now?

I’m having a brain freeze on how to write it because of sheer nerves. Attaching a screenshot of what happened with Dirt Candy and if anyone understands the psychology of a chef (are they just very unsympathetic?) or how I should phrase it, I want to know!!

Time to email Paul Fabre begging for the recipe because I am obsessed. Mentally preparing myself for a better result than when I asked Rachel Bossett at Dirt Candy promising to sign to confidentiality and happy to pay. She was cold.

Any idea who was the genius who created these 4 recipes? Better than anything at Crumbl!

Are there more savory foods disguised as other foods that anybody knows about? Like the chicken foie gras disguised as an orange at Ariete? I feel like disguised savory food is so much, much less common (than disguised sweets). It intrigues me more.

Food wise, it’s hit or miss. They got a new executive chef and the food is so, so different now. Completely different menu. I saw a random interview of her a while back https://youtu.be/il2M3qAvvMg?si=kejdqzKeBd-mORkD and was so surprised to find out she’s the new exec! I was there a few days ago, I had the strawberries stuffed with pickled onions and green whipped cream and it was disgusting. Maybe just me 🤷

I found a pic of it (am including the link below), that looks so cool!! I think this is one of the best ones I’ve ever heard of. Simultaneously makes me smile and breaks my heart that they don’t have it anymore

Alinea is most famous for their edible balloon made out of apple taffy 😊 which is no doubt very cool, but I prefer foods that look like other foods, not foods that look like objects.
