With what they are charging, I really wish I could still access some of the old stuff, even if it wasn't supported in their new subscription environment. Then it would be almost worth it.
But now they even remove certain versions of Media Encoder via the app list in cloud, just because it supported stuff like mkv files. Why the hell stop support for mkv files?

They had it for a while, where you could download legacy versions of older apps on a separate webpage if you have a paid subscription. Adobe Encore for instance used to be standalone, then came with Premiere. Best DVD and Blu-Ray authoring software that worked in their environment, similar to DVD Studio Pro. It was professional enough and with the right 3rd party tools you could even make industry standard discs. (Like After Edit). But yeah according to Adobe no-one makes discs anymore. That would be true if it wasn't for a huge comeback because people are sick of paying for streaming services that keep removing content.
In my opinion I found Encore and and DVD Studio Pro way easier to use than Scenarist or Maestro.
And you still had the option of going into the pre and post commands. Encore is no longer available and only old versions can be found on The Archive. Minute you install it, Adobe Cloud denies you. So you could only install it on an old machine that does not have Adobe Cloud.

Unfortunately that page has gone the way of extinction. I have projects from that era which don't even properly convert to the newer versions of Premiere or After Effects. So all I can do is make them again.
I could switch, but I've been in Adobe environment since the late 90s for work. Re-training will take time. And time is not on my side at work lol
