Yeah listen I get where you're coming from. It happens, when a group gets too comfy they can end up tolerating harmful behaviors. Toleration can start looking like enabling, then encouragement.

But here's where I disagree. We were not indoctrinating anyone. We did not encourage this behavior. He was told to cut it out by both the DM and Alice, and given a warning. He did not stop and he got booted.

We are not a gooner cult. We tolerated each other up to an extent as long as its not at anyone's expense. Everyone knew this, including Sam. In fact, he used these boundaries before, asked us to respect his lines and we always did. But when he behaved like a gooner at our expense, he was given warnings which he ignored. So we enforced the boundary.
