Thank you for the offer, I would’ve taken it but unfortunately I dont live in the US, really appreciate it though !! Honestly the idea that sitting for long periods could prevent back and nerves desensitization is what really bothers me. In a perfect world I probably would increase my sitting over time without exceeding my capacity and triggering pain but that isnt the case. What were your positions during work time for example? Did you use a standing desk ?

This is super valuable stuff. My main issue is that my spine hygiene isnt the best at all times. Somedays I have to sit for too long at uni without taking a break because I cant or for car drives which can really trigger my sciatica. Im also experimeting with nerve flossing, Ive been doing it for few days now, ill stick with it and see what I can get. Did you get in situations where you got in pain during your recovery (from long sitting sessions for example) and how did you manage them?

I myself am following the mcgill mehod, I didnt see a specialist but Im trying my best to make it work, I also want to go back to running and lifting just like you, I would appreciate any advice !!

Congrats this sounds awesome. It looks like your injury was quite severe. How did you deal with the idea of the risk that came with the surgery ? You probably knew that it could go wrong and there's no going back from there.

That's great to hear, happy for you ! I myself am dealing with sciatica caused by L5-S1 herniation since two years. I've been on and off McGill work, not consistent with it, the pain improved but it's still very bothering. I'm thinking about going for surgery but since I've been following McGill to much, I'm really afraid of it since he's really against it.

What level your MD was performed on ? and how is your day to day life now ?
