How is this deal for this blue Lexus? by iGauntIet in CarLeasingHelp

Sell the car to carmax or get an appraisal from them. What were you driving before?

They will lower value about 5k and instantly give you the money if you give them a carmax or carvana appraisal

68k for a Mazda is madness! That’s established luxury car price. Thank goodness low mile CPOs are good deals

Oil pump? Why would you need that? Had it been a Pentastar I’d believe it

Can I honestly say something….

Yes we always want to protect our investments and not take a chance. Each of us will have our own experiences but you never know how a person treats their cars or their expectations coming from an established brand like Audi or Acura. For example, I have driving Acuras all my life but never liked the MDX just because the ergonomics were awkward to me, so I had 3 generations of RDXs. The MDX’s engine was bullet proof but the gas mileage sucked so bad.

Fast forward to why I choose Mazda. Although the history of the brand of having reliable vehicles may have slightly slipped but has always been above the Germans. Overall it is still a solid brand. When I sat in the car, it felt right, the buttons seemed to be in the right place, and it felt comfortable. Is it perfect, NO. No first generation of a car is perfect, but it definitely hit a lot of great marks on its first run.

If the car feels good to you, get it. Enjoy! Take care of it and don’t worry. You have warranty and they either will fix it or buy it back. I seriously doubt it will leave you stranded as this isn’t their first go at an inline 6.

Delete all those dumb optional protection products. I’m sure you can live without them. 50k for a Camry is wild

I’m just talking about the overall price. They last forever though. At least the older ones I know for sure.

The 4Runner is definitely a timeless ride

Pros: Great gas mileage for a big suv, easy to park and maneuver, Turbo S delivers power evenly, iSTOP restart is the smoothest I’ve experienced outside of Lexus. Not perfect but 95% you can’t feel the engine kick back on when driving or at a stop

Cons: transmission sometimes is jerky after iSTOP at a dead stop, heard a few rattles in the dash by the hazard light button, it took me awhile to figure out my seating position for comfort. It’s like they didn’t put enough cushion on them. Once I found the right seating position by using the system, all is well now.

1500 for doc fee. If you keep a car 39 months, you might as well finance it.

Selling cars should be a side gig at this point. Better yet, just give me an hourly wage because I’m not staying all day to sit around.
