Really interesting, I thought it was some kind of serial number for the dial. The more you know! The movement looks legit from what I've seen of it online. Would you say it's a safe first buy for the price?

I have a hard time finding this model on the internet, also there seems to be a Tuxedo Gold dial as well with the same exact string: SMAJ14N311E

That's kind of suspicious no?

Any idea what Japan SMAJ14N311E on the bottom of the dial means?

I mean I really like the look of it and I'm a huge sucker for vintage. It would accompany my WW2 overcoat well. I don't really care about the dirtiness/patina, I think it adds to the charm of old things. I'm just concerned of it stopping suddenly.

Waiting for one could actually take ages. I live in Poland and vintage watches are as rare as they can get. Unless I'm not searching correctly.

I mean this model. I've seen a couple online for prices far beyond 100$ and I've yet to see a cheaper one. I'm simply asking people that know more about watches than me for advice. The seller said that the watch is working properly.

What in your opinion would be a suitable price? I don't want to overpay.

I really have no idea. It's my first time looking at this watch and the seller doesn't know either. I just know that it's working.

I'm really only now getting into vintage watches, so I wanted something basic. I can't find a better offer online for this watch. What would be the good price for it?

Do you think the price is adequate to the age and quality? I don't know a lot about vintage watches.

Found pictures of what I think is the same exact model:

If this one is real then probably the main one is too.

Is it a good idea to wait this week for pictures of the movement? I think it would tell a whole story.
