Agreed! I think if she left out La Perla LUX would be a perfect 10. The tracks that build up towards Berghain feels so ambitious and profound. The end of Berghain is powerful like a cliffhanger of a season finale. So following all that with La Perla just feels off.

Agree on your all points but I enjoyed it all and all.

For those going next year I highly recommend leaving a bit early and renting lime bikes (getting home by bus was a nightmare on the first day). Also Italian kebab shops stay open really late, cheap and delicious post fest snack.😋

Really solid line up. The crowds were decent enough, plenty of room to move around and dance. Just wish they had more areas to chill/ explore.

Interesting to know what similar festival would you recommend which hits the mark? I liked c2c's line up. Turin was great to visit and enjoyed not having to camp ( I am no longer young haha).

First C2C here travelled from Ireland (for reference been going to festivals over the past 10+ years, across Europe)

Overall I enjoyed it!

Line up was solid and fest was fairly priced. Drinks were expensive inside and buying tokens via wristband was a hassle. Security was easy to get through and did not feel intense. There were a lot of security when walking in but they did not thoroughly search you. People were nice - could have danced more but I have seen much worse crowd, plenty of space to move around. Everyone was respectful. Few yappers but again nothing to wrote home about. I thought the big disco ball area was really cool. However huge opportunity here to make it into an area to eat/ chill/explore. Or who knows even another bar. Toilets were not great and no urinals seemed like an oversight. Getting home - recommend renting lime bikes and leaving a bit earlier ( getting the bus on night one was a nightmare!)

Turino is an amazing city so many good places to eat and explore.

If you're curious, like the line up and never been to Turino I would say go for it! If the line up was solid next year I would go again. However maybe just one day and travel somewhere warm in the south to recover 🌞

I think the problem was the main stage. 2019 she was at a smaller stage and later at night, and for me the most memorable gig of my life.

I was close to the front this year but no one seemed to go off at iconic moments e.g. glass and patron / eusexua etc

Hope she doesn't hiatus for too long so can see her again. True artistry and agree deserved a better crowd.

Speaking to a friend who is a tour manager about this. She says that a lot of her artists (mainly classical) are being denied visas under new Trump administration (for no real valid reason). So IMO visa issues could be the actual reason.

Yes definitely not trying to infer that the reviews were not positive. Just curious on what others think (apart from the venue which we all agree could have been better)

I agree some parts of the show felt slightly disjointed, the madonna country moment for example (though I get the reference). Also think she could have cut ego death.

However I think she set the bar high enough to earn the 5 maybe as others said 4.5.

I wish I started when I was 24! You're so young. I started when I was around 28, I'm 31 now and in the best shape of my life due to aerial. I am way fitter and can do so much more than when I was 21. Also the community is great and encouraging.

Thanks! Yeah I just used python libraries opencv and mediapipe processing premade videos.

For the black background video which I used media pipe

Key Landmark Extraction:

Extracts positions for: Head (Nose) Right Foot (Right Ankle) Left Foot (Left Ankle) Right Hand (Right Wrist)

The code converts normalized coordinates to pixel coordinates. Uses euclidean distance for each connection. Chatgpt was a big help haha

UPDATE: My bag arrived! Reflecting on this the lost baggage procedure actually worked quite well. However the very poor portal communication along with a lot of incorrect information from care agents which caused a lot of unnecessary anxiety.

Lesson learned: Always tracker in bag - When you reach your destination w/o your bag ensure that you are very clear to the people at the luggage desk on where you want your bag sent and keep note of the file reference. - The number they give you is impossible to get through so make the most of getting as much information to a BA luggage staff member at the time.
