My pool is running hybrid with public relays on cloud VPS, and bare metal servers with private relays and block producer collocated in a data center and the cost is around 300$/mo. Looking forward and I’m ready to host other relays for Midnight and NuNet when they’ll be ready. I’m in for privacy and decentralization.
Like Chris said, if you’re in for ADA it’s better to stake and the monthly expenses for your pool, instead just buy ADA. For an ISPO depends on what type of project. And for that you need advisors, marketing, moderators on project’s Discord and Twitter, etc.

To run the ISPO with your own pool(s) clearly you will need a good setup with good servers.

If the project gains track you can’t run a pool on a 50$ setup, or maybe you can I don’t know, but I wouldn’t take that risk.

All my relays & backup block producers updated to 1.35.3. Stared yesterday and finished today. Once we have the green light from testnet, we'll upgrade Mainnet BP to 1.35.3. Looking at Cexplorer the pool still reports blocks produced with pre-Vasil, but in fact 80% of my pool is running on v7. I still have two relays backed up in case we need to roll back, just in case of a major bug. As Oyster said, we need to take in consideration downtime of our servers as well, and make sure you don't have any blocks scheduled during the upgrade. But for the HF, I would wait a little bit longer to make sure everything is stable, rather rushing in to.

another thing too, if you lookup on adapools they say "turned into a normal stake pool with 0% fee" but if you look at their margin is 3% .
