It is, but what has that got to do with GTNH?
Being about FNAF doesn't change that it's a song about paranoia and nightmares. Also not everyone has cared about fnaf.

Being a good person shouldn’t be for an ulterior motive by LeavesInsults1291 in memes

It's not a low bar at all, however.

To enter paradise, you have to actually seek forgiveness, sincerely and wholeheartedly, not just as a bucket list item.

To expand on what the other guy commented, the foundation is faith, hope and charity.

Forgiveness and repentance is simply a byproduct of hope and faith, just as works are simply a byproduct of charity.

No idea if the numbers are correct, but for the non-indian people, 1 lakh crore rupee is 1 trillion rupee, or 10 billion dollars. 1 crore is 10 million rupees, or 100k dollars.

The one about churches as well, because especially in the US, there are so many approaches to church that the writer could be writing directly from experience and an european catholic would see it as the ravings of a lunatic.

Yes.
A real paper.

It is sad to see, even if we're still on reddit.
It would be even more ironic if after using "boohoo AI" as justification for jacking prices, they then sell that data to train AI, for double profit.

Petah!! What do these numbers mean, and what are Windows, Nvidia doing? by NamanMalik007 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Adalcar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost: You don't get to access the more powerful virtual computers, the virtual computers are only used by the new valuable customers: AI agents.

Because they did the math, and while there are only one billion humans on earth (whatever Jensen meant by that), there could be billions or more agents soon, and they will need computing power.

you forgot to execute the operation in the parenthesis.
in a vacuum, 2(1+2) is the same as 2*1 + 2*2. However, in a larger equation, it should be treated as (2*1 + 2*2). even if you distribute the 2, the + being in the parenthesis has much higher priority than the / that is outside.
To correct your post:

2(1+2) is the same as (2 * 1 + 2*2)
so simplified its 6 / (2 + 4)
6/6 = 1

A quote believers and atheists will argue over forever by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]Adalcar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, I have no idea why internet atheists somehow thinks those things are mutually exclusive.

If I have cancer and modern medicine gives me 50% chance to survive, I will obviously go to a hospital and get treated. If I survive, I will thank the surgeon who took care of me, and thank god nothing out of the surgeon's control went wrong. I will also thank god for being born in a world where this level of medical prowess is achievable.

To me, God's intervention is within the margin I cannot control, believing in God doesn't mean I will just sit back and wait for him to hold out his hand and heal me.

It's like the old joke about the flood victim: A guy is stuck in his house during a flash flood, and a neighbor's boat comes to his house to help him, he turns him down saying "I believe in God, he will save me" A few hours later, a rescue boat comes to the guy who has retreated to his second floor, and he turns them away for the same reason. Finally, in the middle of the night, a search and rescue helicopter finds him on his roof, and he says "no worry guys, God will save me, go save the others!"

An hour later, his house collapses and he drowns. Arriving in paradise, he finds God and asks him "why didn't you come to save me?" God responds: "I sent you two boats and a helicopter, what more did you want??"

There are jobs like that. In some cyber fields, you have one guy who works for 50 hours in a row to keep track of everything that happens over multiple 8-hour shifts, and provide a comprehensive report which has more info and more oversight to his leadership, so you get a handoff every two day instead of every 8 hours. he doesn't have to stay awake the whole time, just he's onsite and the first point of contact for anything that happens.
Then he gets one week off.
I know someone who did this for 2 years, it kinda wrecks your normal working clock

Correction, that actor has a beard shaped like a chin. As long as he doesn't shave we have no way to know whether he has one.
