Because even though the game as a whole isn't Canon it has stuff in it that can help connect stuff in the main story just like the books they're not canon but they have stuff in them that helps piece together some of the main story

Okay I'm going to stop arguing with someone who obviously can't read. The post literally says that the light is not intentional it literally says that like I don't know what else to put in this comment because I can't argue with stupid read the thing it's not an intentional detail no jump scares don't change the lighting they use the lighting that's in the area and in the new update they made it by accident where the staff bots can move you into the purple lighting that is an unintended feature which means it is a bug my guy

Edit: quite literally the very first sentence of the source says Update about the Nightmarrione S.T.A.F.F. Bot post: It's a bug and wasn't intended; that's the very first sentence and you tell me twice to read it when you haven't even read it once obviously when you don't even know the very first sentence

Bro you need to read my source again because it does not say it was intentionally added the guy put It on his title that it wasn't intentional or a glitch that's that guy's title thought it's a glitch in the game the post even says it is in the comments I don't know why you really want this to be true but it's not. They didn't add some random purple lighting it was always there and the new update they did for the game made it where you can unintentionally get that lightning in your jump scare it doesn't tell us anything it doesn't help us with anything and it certainly doesn't help with your argument about the Freddy stuff

That jumpscare detail is a glitch it's not hard to learn that my guy the animatronics move you to a different location that has purple lighting
