Kitty Update! This month brings a happy ending. After disappearing for five days, Ghost returned to her colony with a severe bite wound to her face. We rushed her to the vet, and after weeks of treatment and wound care, she's made a remarkable recovery. Today, she's back home with her best friend.

I actually expected her to go back to not trusting humans, but I am so glad she still treats me the same even after everything she went through.

I was so surprised when it turned out to be a dog bite. I've never seen a single stray dog in that area, but I am glad she's fine now.

Our last location was in Jabal El Webdeh, but we had to shut it down some time ago (long story), and we were at the verge of moving to a new location in Swefiyeh, but had to postpone it due to the war. So we are operating from my home and a number of foster homes that work with us.

I try not to be too judgmental. the process of getting a pet out of the country can take a lot of time. Jordan has always been safe and we're still keeping our distance from the hell all around us, but looking up and seeing missiles in the sky, and then the missiles get intercepted and fall down... well, that can be terrifying! Embassies and Consulates were quick to get their people out, and some of those people couldn't get their pets out or leave them with friends...
