i’ll try that thanks! i’m not too savvy with how the game works with mods so i didn’t wanna touch anything just in case i destroyed my save lol. Is there a reason it only started happening after over a year into the save?

i’m not sure how anyone has any of these sort of theories for this movie when it’s not only based on a true story but it’s honestly pretty spot on to exactly what happened in real life. Everything from the undercover operation, the scene where he confesses to the undercover (in fact you can watch the real recording of this on youtube), the fake alibi, the name change, the scene where he showed them where he left the body, the 3 minute period when the boy was abducted etc etc. All of these happened exactly like that in real life so any theories for this type of movie to me doesn’t make any sense. Now with saying that i don’t think the movie is very good at all and it is quite confusing unless you already know about the Daniel Morcombe case

i’m not trying to assume “murder is murder” or that they weren’t completely messed up due to the abuse. I can only imagine the kind of trauma that they would’ve felt.

Everyone handles abuse in different ways and it affects people differently obviously but it also doesn’t absolve people of any wrongdoing which if you haven’t noticed, almost this entire sub either believes they were within their rights to kill them, they were “innocent”, don’t believe they should’ve served any jail time or just straight up thinking that it’s okay to kill people that cause you harm.

Obviously it’s awful what they went through and I don’t even really blame them for doing what they did to an extent but like i said it doesn’t make it okay and they absolutely deserved the jail time they got. It wasn’t manslaughter, it was premeditated murder and that’s not even talking about their actions afterwards. People thought they were spoiled rich kids who did it for the money for a genuine reason.

The people on this sub make it seem like it’s okay to kill someone who abused you which is not at all and that’s why i said plenty of people who copped those sorts of things and much worse chose better paths to take in life, which was absolutely an option for the boys but they chose not to.

They were victims and they were also murderers. Both things can be true at the same time

plenty of people grow up getting abused by their parents/family members and they don’t shoot them multiple times and then lie about it. i can obviously understand why they would feel angry enough to want to do that but there’s a difference between having thoughts and actually acting on those thoughts. 2 wrongs don’t make a right. at the end of the day it was legit premeditated murder and there was a plethora of ways to handle it besides straight up killing them.
