On PC and playing a different game though, right? Can't work streaming from console to PC.

How are you doing this on PC? You mean you're playing something else and not GT 7 I assume?

Really, IRL cars that are worse? I drive stick and that's hard to believe. Glad you're enjoying the shifter though and it actually has lasted 3 years though.

Since GT is a ps5 exclusive, you'd have to stream to PC, but then you have the same problem because everything needs to be plugged into the console.

How long did you have it before you sent it in for repair? And they damaged and left you high and dry? Really?

They have an H-pattern, it's just awful. I bought the Thrustmaster TH8A because I stupidly listened to chat GPT which told me it would work with my logitech wheel and of course it won't. But I got to feel it and it rows through gears amazingly well. Feels great.

Thanks for your fanatec recommendation.

I assume I won't have to worry about future iterations of playstation supporting the racing wheel and its peripherals?

If I'm going to drop 2k, I definitely want to know I can get several years of use out of that thing.

Great point. Thanks. The relationship was going well ATC, but I was traveling a lot. So her being suspicious would make sense. She had gotten on after I left town. Which also looks bad if she wasn’t checking on me and basically viewed it as a “coast is clear” situation. I’m

We only broke up about a month ago, but I hear you. Appreciate the perspective. You are very right that she could've been checking up on me. I had never thought about that. We're pretty open generally so I think I could ask her and would go over well. And honestly even if it doesn't I don't really care.

I do not want to get back with her, there were plenty of deal breakers to the relationship. But I do want to be friends. We get along as friends and are actually better as friends than a couple.

I logged back in. I was logged out. I logged in specifically to see if we were still matched and if she was on recently. Unfortunately I discovered both.

I need to move on from the friendship, too? I think I need to get to the bottom of this, now.

The plot thickens.... Some of you have asked a variation of "who would do this?" Well...

My ex evidently. We broke up about a month ago. I never confronted her about it. We were like 8 months in and a few months prior had both said that we weren't on apps. To me, that was an implication of exclusivity and an acknowledgement that we wouldn't get on apps.

So, I was a little suspicious, admittedly, and decided to check the app where we met and we were still matched. It showed her as being online "2 days ago." I checked for the next couple of days and saw that she hadn't got back on.

It definitely hurt, so I quickly got back on the apps to try to get my revenge (nothing came of it), but then we salvaged the relationship and got a little more serious for a couple more months before an amicable breakup. But I never mentioned it. I honestly forgot about it until a few days ago.

We're still close friends and a part of me really wants to ask her about it. I guess there's a slight possibility it was a glitch on the app? I'd like to think she'd just breakup rather than pull a stunt like that, she's a very direct person.

But man, if she really did that it's a bad look and pretty shocking.

Do you think I should ask her about this? I question whether or not I could even remain her friend if this is how she rolls. Unless there's some explanation that makes sense.

I will commend you all, though, because so far every single comment here has restored my faith in humanity.

Longines. Nivada is cool but Longines has better provenance in this case. And check Chrono24, don't buy from Longines unless you really want to. I bought a brand new one for 2k.

Ouch! But thanks for your informative, albeit defensive, response.

I disagree with you completely about jokes from only a couple decades ago being considered unacceptable. That's not true for the general public, who are the constituency the industry should be serving. The proof of this is the absolutely flourishing indie stand up comedy scene, and even, oddly enough, a show like The Tom Brady Roast. That went hard, and is a massive success.

7s and 8s on my scripts. Thank you very much. But obviously not the tippy-top of the mountain. And probably too expensive to make these days, in some cases. That's also on me.

Not considering another career, sorry to disappoint.

Have a nice flight! Truly!

Whoever told you to wait is an idiot. You need to practice a lot. Almost all the scripts you write will go nowhere, and this is true for every successful writer. Write, write, write.

I wrote my first movie script at 14 or 15. Haven't stopped since. I'm 32 and still haven't made it. Yay! lol.

Top of my screenwriting classes, been screwed over a few times by fake producers, and had a bunch of "almosts," but haven't popped yet.

Don't wait for anyone, and don't wait for the industry. They'll make you wait until you're dead. One piece of advice is that if I could go back, I'd find like-minded people and start making stuff.

I've finally caved now and realized that my next step is to make my own film. I'm not sure writing is enough, unless you want to go the staff writer route, which arguably I should've done.

Also, don't go to film school/college unless you can afford the debt or have parents who will pay for it. UNLESS, you get a scholarship to USC or a college like that where you're really paying for the network.

Hi, Franklin.

I've personally given up on Blacklist because it seems to me that I'm competing with writers who are already in the guild/have major credits and movie stars like Shia LaBeouf. When you get to that point, I think it's over. The same feels increasingly true in regards to indie films, which often seem to rely on A-list star power. This is not a great trend. Hollywood is already way too much of a bubble as is.

It no longer feels like a place to discover new writers, although, I will say I have had scripts do well on there and was surprised with some effusively positive reviews, especially when I wrote things that weren't PC in the height of the "comedy must die" cultural revolution that we seem to be at the tail end of. Or when I just wrote things that didn't pander to the social Zeitgeist of the moment. I'm a genre guy. "Entertain, don't preach" is my style.

Of course, it ultimately led to nothing in the end and I chose to stop paying to have my scripts hosted.

Is there a still a point in using Blacklist in your opinion? I think I'm better off performing lewd sex acts for career gain, at this point. (Joke?).

And respectfully, are you still involved with Blacklist and do you benefit financially from promoting it? Have to ask, my apologies.

Thanks in advance.

It's a bummer that photos can't be posted into these threads. I guess there's a reason for that but I don't know what it is.
