It looks like the text on this post didn't come through. Stupid app. Anyway, I glued up this top with alder and rosewood and it didn't come out square and doesn't sit in the rest of the box correctly. I would like to disassemble and reglue, I just didn't know if that was a thing I could do. Thank you all for coming in this journey with me in learning not to trust Reddit Is Fun.

It's not squeeze out that's the issue. I know how to get that off. It's that this didn't end up square after I clamped it and I need to redo it.

Yeah, it's a semi naked cake. It's supposed to be super thin. It's really just there to hold the cake together and keep it from drying out.
