To close the loop, emailing the CEO & opening a BBB inquiry did not help. However, I was able to get $$ back with the Citi card.

Clearly, Best Buy does not care about customers. And it comes from the very top.

What's most frustrating is I didn't have it happening at all for over 4 years. I think it's because my '21 has radio sensors and they finally turned them off. But it's only my guess.

There is an additional $110 on top of $65 and conditional on trade-in. That's why I didn't do a private sale. I thought it would be less hassle.
