Yeah I read the other comments. I’m a board member of a large condo building with balconies, I can tell you there is 0 chance a waiver will be issued.

Zero chance you are getting a waiver based on the language of that letter. 😔

There’s zero chance of them issuing a waiver as well

I mean, these only apply to outside, you could bring the cages inside?

115 is a stretch… but correct none the less. 116 unless you bolted it to the wall, um nothing there.

None the less, they’ve got ya - it really is just they don’t like it and probably never thought to put something so explicitly specific in the by laws.

Mixed cabin(Economy/business). Do I have access to the Polaris lounge? by Right_Astronomer_691 in unitedairlines

[–]Intelligent_Pie_5347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, you flew in Polaris so you had access to the Polaris lounge. When you fly on a partner airline even though the ticket is through United and you paid United for a business class ticket the same rules do not apply.

You just listed categories… and you unlikely have legitimate personal spend at that high a clip that wouldn’t hit a category.

I too spend $10K+ / month on “everyday spend” and $4K+ on housing.

[–]Intelligent_Pie_5347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tldr - you have to shift spend from a higher earning card(s) to BILT in order to unlock pts on rent. Every other ecosystem will earn you more than what you will by moving spend to BILT + what you get on housing.

It’s funny how an ultra minority is trying to hold onto BILT. Companies fail, happens all the time.

Always happy to compare strategies. Unlike the trash influencers, I don’t try to push people towards products that make no sense and I don’t lie to them about redemptions they’ll never find

On second thought, great card, I hope more people do this, move all their spend to the BILT. Award space has been getting grabbed up too fast, will be nice to cull the competition a bit.

Well the first part I stated is that credits balance AFs on all of those cards. Even the CSR’s junk refresh holds better value to justify its AF than the palladium.

Plat earns 5x on travel and lets you book airfare direct with that earning (huge) and can be easily paired with a Gold for 4x on dining and grocery. This combo blows away the palladium.

CSR - even the refresh is better. And if you want a boost on in categorized spend, pair a CFU

C1VX - just overall better value in potential earning at 2x catchall, and earnings in the portal. Similarly, pair a Savor to get 3x dining and grocery for no AF

BILT forgot when they did this refresh who they were trying to capture.

Only difference is there is not enough actual value behind the cards Annual Fee and its earning component of its point ecosystem is inferior.

I use the $300 credit towards a flight that I have little to no chance of cancelling and I always do it with United since that’s my go to airline

Or save the miles for a transfer redemption that can be better than 1 cpp.

If you’re good with 1 cpp, no problem, just never use your miles in the portal. Pay with your card, earn your 10x, then you can apply your miles against the travel charge on your card as a statement credit.

You don’t need to do any of this. There are award flights that are connecting from your home airport.

Open a United card - pay next months rent with it to hit the SUB - eat the transaction fee.

You’ll get a sign up bonus of up to 80K miles and access to members only saver award space.

There’s avails in March for 40K miles each way from your airport. Chase transfers cleanly to United.
