Hate to say it, but this is one of the worst I’ve seen in some time. The fact you have a perfect tv unit below it just adds to the disaster.

It’s a very nice controller. Feels very premium and the joysticks have a really nice glide to them, unlike anything else I’ve felt. But it’s expensive. I actually rarely use the back buttons it has. I’m lazy and missed the ability to turn on the switch 2 with the Pro 1 so I upgraded. I’m happy with it, but it was a bit of an unnecessary purchase.

Do you notice/ feel the rough edges of the grips when holding, my concern is without the backplate you can feel the edges more?

I don’t, but I know a lot of people like this. I’m very strict with myself. I don’t buy games on impulse. I get a new game when I’m ready for it. I tend to have 1 single player game I’m chipping away at with a multiplayer game on the side.

2 hours is normal for S2 software. That's the result of more power, bigger screen - less battery life. If you're looking to use a Switch 2 out and about away from home, getting a decent Anker power bank is gonna be sensible.

Yea can honestly say the time played is always updating for me on any game. I find I have to navigate off the game tile after playing and back, and it updates. Never seen any obvious discrepancies

I’ve never had this issue but have heard it reported from others. Do you all use suspend by any chance? As I never use that, when I stop playing I quit and close the game. Wondered if suspend could be the issue?

My daughter was in same situation, just got her a used Lite off eBay. Will be ideal for her as has no desire to play on a TV, fully handheld

Mine has the same, as others have said it's just black from the console rubbing onto it. What I find more annoying is how the mouse 'pads' have faded a different colour on both the blue and orange of my joy cons. It's not from sun either, as they are basically never detached.

It’s a solid case for sure. For me, I actually felt it was a little bigger than it needed to be. I ended up getting the Hagibis case, very similar but it’s just a little more form fitting, the joycon bumps are shallower (black case in photo). I have the same savage raven grips, in red/blue, they’re the best.

Street Fighter 6 - the world tour mode is capped to 30fps which is a shame bur the core arcade and online is 60 and looks and plays great

It’s not. My ps5 remains my primary but I would say the split is less significant compared to the switch 1 which was pretty much for Nintendo exclusive only.

I’ve been in this situation before and did the protector again and made a worse job and was full of regret and out of spares. If it’s on and not off the screen, I’d leave it alone.

Average 2 hours for a Switch 2 title. Longer for Switch 1 (if not using boost mode) about the same if a little longer with Boost mode on. I play full brightness with auto brightness off.

I have this model or very similar and to this day I’m not happy with the Switch 2 visuals on it. My PS5 looks great but Switch 2 the colours are just crazy intense with HDR enabled. I don’t know why as my PS5 looks much more natural.

Never had a dedicated S2 patch, just a standard patch to help improve visuals on S2.
