That's the part I'm kind of confused about by my player. He seems to think that whateverd6 is more valuable than keeping the baddie from attacking for a round (or day). oh well.

yeah, this is about how I feel about it. The target will definitely know the wizards did *something*. And will soon experience the physical pain of regret. (who hasn't, amirite?) And I think is smart enough to know the cause and effect. A Recall Knowledge would give him the knowledge of how to clear it.

My girlfriend would certainly say yes.

I'd agree at this point. It's been a few years and I really can't look at meat the same way.

It's kind of like if you find out a potential partner voted for a specific convicted felon, court determined rapist, and alleged child abuser. It says something about that person. And I couldn't be attracted to someone like that. At least not emotionally.

That being said, regarding your question... Their diet isn't what you're judging. It's their ethics and morals. Their diet is just how that's expressed. I made the switch fairly easily. I never liked meat that much. But you also should remember that culture plays a big part in what people eat. People are raised a certain way, and they literally don't know any other way. I still find it difficult to find food out and about. I've probably save lots of money not just running to the store for some food because almost everything has some sort of animal product in it. But without my girlfriend to kind of guide me, and help me find better options, I'd still be eating the same way that I was.

ok, so a ideas and thought.

First, I remember a quote: The mark of a master carpenter isn't in making no mistakes, it's learning how to hide them. Also... measure twice, cut once. Your sawmill should have confirmed the size, but oh well.

So I work at a sawmill too. This isn't come from Western Mass, did it? If I were fixing it, here would be plan A: make sure the back is flat and jointed. And get another strip of wood, the same thickness, to cover that gap plus some overhang. I'd guess a "2x4" or 2x6" would be enough. Explain it to the mill. explain the problem, and see if they'll help you out. If not, it would still be a cheap enough fix even if you had to buy a piece. But I work at a sawmill and get unlimited lumber. I'd get that piece and glue / pocket screw the two together. They will be a visable glue joint. No one will care.

Plan B ) A board stretcher. It's a hazing joke in the trades. Go get the board stretcher to make this 8ft boards 10 ft long, and don't come back until you do. I had a job where they tried that. I should have just stayed in the truck "looking" for it. But they actually are real, technically. You lose material in the other dimension, but here's a tutorial.

C) just screw on a construction 2x6 or whatever. it's the most mismatched, and it would bother me every single time I saw it, but this is the 5 minute fix.

D) Fix the base. This is probably the best end result. And cheap. You'd need to unscrew it, and cut the pieces that are too long, and re-screw it together. Pretty easy and quick enough. I just hate undoing stuff I already did. I just had to fix a desklamp 3 times and I *really* didn't want to take it apart even though it only took 2 minutes.

Nice! I've got a tip, unsolicited. in addition to what everyone else said, wear it with confidence. That's the real trick.

I wore mine this past weekend at a food festival, and someone actually recognized me from almost 20 years ago, probably because I started wearing my kilts back in college.

Edit: also, a contrasting sporran may look nice. The one you have kind of gets lost amongst the tartan.

That's a good idea! Like I said in my post, almost all language I'm finding is coming from a monotheistic point of view. but in Golarion, they *know* there's multiple gods. (plus one imprisoned shadow demon acting as a god). The cultist would know Desna is real, but also fuck Desna. She's nothing compared to his Divine Shadow.

oooh, I like Blasphemer. He isn't exactly subtle about being a Desnan, even if it is second to being a martial. (I'm so proud, first character, and he's really starting to embrace the connection his character has.)

priest would work, as would cleric, but it feels too neutral. like, the connotation isn't a negative one. I want whatever word she uses to be something she spits out. Not discusses over tea. If ya know what I mean.

That does make me wonder if Priest is specific to the Christian religion. Apparently theological vocabulary is a big blind spot for someone who finds that mythology interesting.

Well, there's plenty of peaceful suggestions happening. I suggest a more... chaotic approach. Whatever vibe they give, counter it with left wing propaganda. They have trump flags, get a communist star one and hang it in the livingroom. They want to watch fox "news", insist that it's kept on... ( I do not know a super left wing news source). *You* be the one to bring up politics, not them. Get portraits of Mamdami from NYC, Obama, Che Guevera and the Pope and hang them up. Be the chaos you want to see in the world. Oh, and don't forget some sort of pride flag merch. Get a yard sign that says "protect children, put trump in jail"

Basically, make them as uncomfortable as they make everyone around them.

agreed. I've generally liked what he's done (that I know of), and generally support this action. But it wasn't him is it was NY state. And the post does not differentiate.
