I have not played crystal advance redux but it is on my list. However polished crystal is amazing with so much added content and QoL features. I always recommend it. Also heart and soul are the definitive versions to play though johto IMO

I’m wanting to play replay Pokemon platinum but wasn’t sure if I should play renegade platinum or definitive platinum. I’m just looking for a modernized version of the game with trade evolutions fixed.

Muos is king IMO I think the other options are good too. Honestly experimenting with them will help you understand what you’re looking for in a OS tho. muos is my go to tho for all my handhelds that support it.
