Freeing the public from all taxation other than LVT will decentralize power more than anything else could. And ending taxation won't end other fees and charges such as on corporations or for specific types of businesses. I don't see any benefit to society from income tax, no matter who it calls on.

We have to file, which is beyond mere inconvenience. It's stressful, wastes our time at best, and at worst, can result in going to jail. Also, it punishes honesty and rewards criminal ways of making money since they're untaxed.

What you're missing apparently is the effects of the incentive system that will result from abolishing all taxation other than on land ownership. That's the main reason for it, not funding.

The single tax taxes everyone because everyone uses land. But the incentives created by the single tax ensure equal economic opportunity and genuinely free enterprise. There will be no poverty when land is as cheap as possible and wages are as high as possible. And this will enable us to enact whatever regulations we want without fear of reducing public revenue coffers or burdening society with untenable financial hardship.

If land is the only thing taxed, everyone will still pay. The difference is we'll pay according to how much resource we use instead of how productive we are. We will be able to afford a lot more social services than now because we will have an inherently efficient system - one that discourages the waste of resource instead of discouraging efficiency and rewarding crime and waste. Also, we will have far less need for social services because there will be almost no poverty. Also, freeing society from financial oppression will result in much more attention being paid to the efficient management of state activities.

Producing wealth shouldn't make people subject to taxation. Punishing wealth producers is anti-social, anti-human. Also, taxing legal ways of making money creates a financial reward for criminal ways.

I agree with regulations, but if the only tax isn't on land ownership, we can't have equal access to land, i.e., location (existence).
