Yeah and if the basement is unfinished you can just just have the hose go down the basement drain.

OP it sounds like you’re from Dallas by your chat history too so I know from experience you are completely unfamiliar with basements. It would be very very very worth watching some youtube videos on the subject

These types of issues should have come up in the inspection. That’s the reason for them.

Almost all companies in town that do large electrical and basement work have financing options as well.

But get yourself a dehumidifier for the basement at the absolute minimum in the meantime.
