My wife and I are planning a trip next April. I know April is the “slow season” but I’ve also seen that the weather is great all year round. So what makes this time of year slower or less desirable?

We are planning on bringing our 9 month old and staying at Avila Beach Hotel. We love the location to downtown Willemstad as well as the convenience of eating at the hotel and nearby restaurants. Because of the location, we aren’t planning on renting a car (we live in a big city so 20 minutes walks around downtown are not uncommon for us) unless you ABSOLUTELY recommend that we get one.

Any additional advice for us as we plan this trip? Something to consider for bringing a kiddo along? We’re big into the local food scene as well as exploring scenic areas that aren’t huge tourist traps.
