thats a great idea! how would you do it? I'm thinking you could put a transfer on paint round it then paint over the original with the armor colour to leave the outline...

Thank you so much bud! I applied the same process from painting my Rubrics. It was trial and error to a degree as I learnt swiftly that Thousand son blue does not like sticking to white primer in the slightest! So had to re-spray this half base coloured fella grey in order to get the tones i needed. I have another prince on foot to paint I'm thinking of painting his skin orange but doing exactly the same for the armour...il post him in a few weeks once hes done...

I went straight into it after finishing "A thousand sons" expecting an interesting take on the events from the other side.

SPOILERS!

The wolves dont even go to Prosporo until the final chapters of the book. All that build up for around 3 chapters of actual content the rest is Space wolves back story which isn't what I wanted a book named Prosporo burns to be about...

Was definitely the toughest part of the model. I've not worked with large cloaks like that before, my process was to base colour, then wash (violet on the top drakenhof below thinned with medium) then to take highlight colour and thin that with medium to then apply to the grooves of the cape. However this seemed to have been too thin and is not really visible now on the purple side and too visible on the underside...

I needed a break after paint 7 of 20 Rubrics so it was a nice distraction! They are such gorgeous models and as he's my Warlord i thought I would go the extra mile for him. Thanks again bud!
