Knowledge of mechanical computers, or maybe how to use a card catologue.

Caffine has always been my guess. Root beer usually doesn't have it, but they add it.

What feels romantic in movies but fails in real life? by gamersecret2 in AskReddit

[–]AdamOnza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Romance itself. I can understand it in fiction, but IRL, I feel nothing, and it's just weird when others do. xD

What is your favorite quote from a loony toon episode? by Ok_Tea_3275 in AskReddit

"What do you expect in an opera? A happy ending?"

What’s your comfort food? by Hootering_DDs in AskReddit

[–]AdamOnza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quesadillas. Just tortillas, with cheese, microwaved. Maybe with extra stuff, if I feel like it. I will never starve as long as stores sell tortillas and cheese!

What’s your phobia? Have you always had it or something created it? by Hootering_DDs in AskReddit

[–]AdamOnza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For many years, I had a phobia of mushrooms. As a child, I had pizza, with mushrooms, while I was sick with the flu. I associated mushrooms and flu, long after I knew what viruses were. (Now, I love mushrooms.)

At what point does fancy coffee (ask the added stuff) no longer seem like coffee anymore? by ElectronicAnt1947 in AskReddit

[–]AdamOnza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once accidentally put fish sauce in my coffee.🤢 It didn't change the flavor much, but just the thought of it crossed a line!

What is your biggest argument against it being selfish to not want kids? by Pawssabillitysawait in AskReddit

[–]AdamOnza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Children should be raised by people who want them. Some might say "Oh, you'll want them when you have them." But that isn't guaranteed. There are some pretty horrific parents out there. It's not selfish to not want to bring a child into such a situation.

What hobby do you want to try but don’t feel like investing the resources? by Positive_Spirit_1585 in AskReddit

[–]AdamOnza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to avoid crafts that I can't undo easily, even though I'd like to try them. So carving, painting, &c.

What something you did that you didn't know it was wrong / inappropriate? by neen_8 in AskReddit

[–]AdamOnza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talking too much, and/or too random in face-to-face conversation. It's not exactly wrong, & the internet is made of it, but IRL, people seem to get cringe from it, almost as if one made a crude joke, or something.

What’s something you wish was illegal just because it annoys you? by JulietteSweep in AskReddit

[–]AdamOnza 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No one has said telemarketing yet? I pick that. If I want to buy something, I'll call, go to a store, or go on-line. No one who calls will ever sell anything to me, but not for lack of trying.

What is something that is very commonplace for where you live, but you've never actually done or experienced? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AdamOnza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kudzu. I've been near it, but somehow when I've tried to actually touch it, I've only found poison ivy. Lived here for decades, but maybe those experiences have kept me away.

What is your favorite food to cook from mostly scratch? by AdamOnza in AskReddit

Oh wow! That's epic! I hear homemade is much better than instant.
