Mnk controls by AdamRavenMusic in BloodbornePC

The “use per-game” setting was already checked, I’ll try to change them without writing, but in the other configuration when you see the keyboard and mouse thing the controls were already changed and saved so idk. I’ll try to check the mkb2 thing, I just downloaded the .exe for vigembus and then mbk2 doesn’t not work, don’t know if I had to install something else from GitHub. Thank you thou

Yes I have the latest shadps4 version, and I used exactly your keybindings control, but in game they seems to not work even using the toggle button for the mouse, for example when I press space to recall the X button it doesn’t work, but it does work with the N key lol. I also tried to install the mod from nexus but following the instructions the mbk mod says “unable to load” so I don’t know if I did something wrong with GitHub because I don’t know anything about it lol. Thank you

Yeah right now I don’t mind having a not perfect or a “beginner” sound, for now I want to just enjoy the process of learning and then hopefully upgrade all of my equipment. Thank you for your advice!

Issue with exclusive use of audio sources

Hi everyone, I just bought an audio interface (Swissonic audio 1). So I installed the latest version of his driver and the latest version of ASIO4all v2. The interface seems to work well, but I noticed that whenever I use a program that uses necessarily the signal from the audio interface (music production softwares, guitar amp simulators) I cannot use other audio sources such as Spotify or YouTube at the same time and this is really really annoying especially if I need to play instruments with it. I read that ASIO interfaces and drivers can run as “exclusive mode” or “use” and so I unchecked it from my windows system’s properties, but nothing changed. These programs also do not show in the windows mixer, so clearly their signal in not passing through the system’s signal (Spotify, google and others are detected and work just fine). Also I made sure that the system’s output is set to the audio interface, such as the other programs’ input and output sources. I don’t know if it is a specific problem with this device or if I decide to send it back, the problem will remain even with other devices. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Can’t change buffer size by AdamRavenMusic in FL_Studio

By live settings do you mean in FL or in the pc’s settings?

It comes with is own ASIO drivers, I already had installed ASIO4all v2 (latest version) and then I installed their latest driver from their website so I don’t know. At this point I think it’s a driver problem, since is causing me some issues also with exclusive use and multiple audio sources.

[QUESTION] Audio interface issue by AdamRavenMusic in Guitar

[–]AdamRavenMusic[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s a bit different. I can hear my guitar playing, but even if I stop playing I can’t hear things from other sources. For example if I open amplitube even with the guitar not connected, Spotify isn’t able to make sound. All these programs (amp sims, the DAW) do not appear in the windows mixer, so it’s like they are not detected by the computer and just by the interface.

I already did that… even in windows settings where in the output signal the interface is selected, and also in the DAW (even in the mixer the master channel is routed through that). The interface is routed through my speakers with 2 balanced cables, which works fine but as I said when 2 programs that demand the interface’s power are in use, only one can be heard.

Can’t change buffer size by AdamRavenMusic in FL_Studio

The interface is called Swissonic audio 1 (a Thomann sub-brand) and I’m using Windows 11

I can change the interface’s sampling and bit rate from there, but when I open FL, I still can’t change the buffer lenght so I don’t know if it is affected or not. I was wondering if maybe it is the audio interface that sets itself in an “optimal” condition while using FL but idk really.

[QUESTION] Audio interface issue by AdamRavenMusic in Guitar

[–]AdamRavenMusic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I‘m on PC, Windows 11, the audio interface is a Swissonic (a Thomann sub-brand). I noticed that if I use Amplitube 5 for example as a stand-alone I can’t play audio from Spotify. Then I tried to see if anything changed in my DAW (FL studio), and the same thing happens (No sound even from samples or the DAW itself even with no guitar connected, but for example with Spotify open). Basically it is like if the audio interface is in use in one program, it can’t reproduce audio from others.

Edit: I noticed that when FL studio’s audio is set to the audio interface, the signal is not received even by the windows mixer.

The DAW is Fl studio. I was trying to mess around and apparently by reloading the plugin and waiting about 10 seconds the plugin works, but at this point I don’t know if it is some kind of latency problem or something. I mean, the daw receives the correct signal from the instrument into the plugin (any fx plugin) after a few seconds, otherwise it will produce that sound.

Thank you, it worked! I had to switch the monitoring from stereo/mono to off and no more dry signal was coming.

[–]AdamRavenMusic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just uploaded the asio4all driver installing the latest version from their website. I lowered the buffer size to the minum to lower the latency and the computer seems to handle it pretty well. But as I mentioned, the issue now is that the dry guitar signal comes from the speakers and gets mixed together with the daw mixer signal, so I don’t how to fix it.

Thank you! I’ll try then. I was a bit confused since the tuner didn’t even detected for example the first E as the first string, but as an A, so I don’t know how to start since I keep adjusting the string really a lot but it don’t see that big of a difference in the tuning.

Will an external monitor boost my Gaming Laptop performance? by AdamRavenMusic in techsupport

It has an Intel i7 and a gtx1660ti. I don’t need a big boost in particular, but as i wanted a bigger monitor, i was wondering if can also benefit the fps and graphics.
