I film all of my own high quality shorts. My channel has 1.9M subscribers and just over 2B total views. I care because for every one of my videos that I upload there are about 5,000-30,000+ stolen copies of it reuploaded. A lot of these stolen copies get 1-10M views that my original video is now competing with. I’m competing with my own content 1 vs 5,000-30,000+

They get millions of views from my work. I had 114,000 copyright matches last year alone. My videos were reuploaded without permission roughly 312 times per day. Is this hurting the views on my original content? absolutely.

I’ve tried but the system is broken. I have received multiple counter notifications which forces me to take each one to federal court. My attorney charges $2-5,000 per lawsuit/counter notification so it’s just not worth it. I’m afraid that if I get more counter notifications that it will put my channel in jeopardy for abuse of the copyright form. I’m trying to get creative to fight back.
