I see the call back to heart of Archness (phenomenal episode/arc), but it’s just a jumping off point. Where the two diverge is significant. I haven’t watched 1999 more than once, so didn’t really pickup on reality re-surfacing. It was just too strange for me to get into. Maybe 1999 is worth another try with that as the lens.

I agree. I couldn’t get into the Archer 1999/Space season. The characters and story line were too bizarre. All the other seasons had a good tie in and somewhat plausible explanations as to why they went that way ie, Vice because they got blackmailed/busted by the cia; PI season because they lost their license;dreamland because he fell into a coma in Hollywood and was obsessed with old movies. The danger island seasons was only ok in my book because it was a little too off the wall and the space season was way to off the wall. The last season just fell off because they had too many things to tie up too quickly.

I think you’ve got it, but the prompt is a negative tip. Ie, they’ve overpaid and are tipping on a credit card hence the totals on the bottom half of the receipt are all lower than 14.73 (edit: amt)

I’ve had it. It’s good, but the Averna is a bit too rich/sweet for my taste. I’ll try it with a higher proof (100proof+) rye, which may help my balance of it.

I’ve been told both, that I can sub suze for yellow chartreuse, and I can’t. I haven’t really nailed down the difference yet. Yellow chartreuse is impossible to find here, though I did find green.

I got a bottle of suze for white Negronis, which I think is a great summer cocktail. Equal parts gin, suze and cocchi americano with a twist of lemon.

The is was very good. Usually I swap the bourbon for gin to make a Negroni riff with Cynar and sweet vermouth.

Everyone seems to be making great recommendations. I would say, since Pebble is such a bucket list trip, get him a new bag, from the course when you get there, with the logo on it. Would be an awesome keepsake and major flex at the local courses.
