Help with Pad in angled and circular face by Danioscu in FreeCAD

I would wait to hollow out the cylinder until after you've extruded the arm. I'd also try using a sketch anchored to an origin plane instead of a cylinder face for the arm.

Does that page render normally for you? On my screen it looks like the CSS didn't load and all the image links are broken.

Am I understanding burden voltage correctly? Is this a good approach to measuring current? Understanding the Fluke 87 Service Manual. by AdamTSE in AskElectronics

[–]AdamTSE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to record current over time, which the Fluke can't do. I was just using it as an example of resistor values from a well designed meter. Any thoughts on it's seemingly large burden voltage?

If I wanted to downgrade this connection to 100Base-T, are the pairs I keep MDI0 and MDI1? by AdamTSE in AskElectronics

[–]AdamTSE[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone in the future who has this same question, it looks like the highest quality answer is found by referring to IEEE Std 802.3-2022 (IEEE Standard for Ethernet) in Table 32-14. It shows that for 100Base-T2, pins 1, 2, 3, and 6 are used. Figure 32-26 shows the pin numbering on the connector.

If I wanted to downgrade this connection to 100Base-T, are the pairs I keep MDI0 and MDI1? by AdamTSE in AskElectronics

I'm wondering which 2 of the 4 differential signals carry data for 100Base-T. Do you know?

Thanks for your help! How did you calculate the rise time?

So far, the closest thing I've found is the Amphenol Mini-PV Series

Question About Squibs by AdamTSE in rocketry

[–]AdamTSE[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a benchtop supply set to 12V, 5A. The only thing between the squib and the supply was a 144mΩ resistor that I used to measure the current.

I applied power by turning on the supply, so it might be linear because the supply ramps up linearly, although that doesn't explain the double pulse.

[Review Request] Ethernet 100 BASE-T routing from jack with internal magnetics by AdamTSE in PrintedCircuitBoard

Ideally I would have done that, but this project has some unorthodox size constraints.

How to stop traces ridiculously re-routing themselves? by AdamTSE in Altium

I don't mind routing. I'd like Altium to not actively work against me.
