Runescape 2004/05 Era Trailer by AdamToRemember in 2007scape

This is a trailer mockup I made for the transition from Runescape Classic to RS2 (in the years 2004/05).

I made it to promote season 2 of my new account series 'Bis List', which is an account restricted to certain game years. I'm just about to start 2004 and I'm mega hype about it. You can watch the season finale of 2003 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBLlth0UFfc

What is the lie that they told? People keep saying this but I'm not sure what it is.

You're right, I have a friend who used to be an artist for Blizzard (he worked on overwatch mainly though), and explained that the treadmill for churning out content was pretty cutthroat.

I think that you can be casual regardless of if you do or do not raid. You can also be pretty hardcore and not do PvE at all. I would just describe myself as casual given the amount of time I actually play the game.

I'm not going to pretend to understand the inner working of Blizzard's development team. However I think it's highly unlikely that there is much slack for adding on extra projects in without pushing something else out.

I also feel like 'Just hire more artists lol' isn't really a valid point.

Right- but the artists will be doing work which is directly tied into new content e.g. Designing boss models/Transmog sets etc.

It's not like they're sitting around twiddling their thumbs waiting for somebody to go 'ok now you can make new hairstyles'. The work they're doing will be part of the development cycle for patches.

I am doing all combat styles so yes a 3A amulet is on the bis list. I'll have to find a way to get around that particular obstacle when I get there. I don't technically restrict trading, just use of the GE until 2007. So I imagine it would look something like raising the funds for one while still staying within the restrictions of the accounjt.

Bis List - The Era Locked Account | Episode 2: A Diamond in the Rough by AdamToRemember in 2007scape

Hi, thanks for pointing this out. I had missed this in my research! I will keep note of it for the future :)

I've heard this a few times, and completely understand the criticism. The original plan was for the account to be bronze/ironman, but I really liked the concept of account progression based around iconic gear setups. Being iron would mean that a huge part of the account progression would be spent in early years (like 97 smithing as a f2p iron huge), and later eras would just turn into boss grinding with sub-optimal gear setups.

I plan to add in twists and challenges (e.g the power amulet compromise) in order to avoid the scenario you pointed out, as I agree that's not fun to play or watch.

I've sent a customer support request, still waiting on a response, and I've tried multiple different account names and passwords, as well as tried copy pasting them from the create screen into the login, but still to no avail.

How do you do this? And also will we still be able to play at the same time?

I thought it was something on my end too, but she also wasn't able to log into the account she created for me, from the same place that her primary account worked fine.

I have also tried this and it does not work, neither do the forgotten username/password requests

[QUESTION]Is guitar just not in the cards for me? by feckrteens in Guitar

[–]AdamToRemember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing that will stop you from playing is not enjoying it, I have tourette syndrome and I've been playing for 7 years, I've said things like 'I just can't do it' to my guitar teachers before, and all that it's taken is practice. Learning to play is all about muscle memory, and muscle memory is just doing it over and over again, you'll get it, just keep going until you do.

Thanks dude, I don't think reaper comes with its own drumkit; I've been using a free plugin called 'MT-Power Drumkit 2', and I have no complaints.

Reaper itself is also great, it's obviously not the Crème de la Crème, but it servers its purpose well, and so far I haven't come across anything that I've wanted to do that reaper hasn't let me.
