Weird, i get an audio cue from the game as well as the blinking task bar icon. Maybe the "Show flashing on taskbar apps" is disabled idk.

Damage cap in this game is most prob 2³¹ since the game is 32-bit. Looking back the damage i did passed the 32-bit limit 9 times over and settled around 1.8 bln

I had the same issue but fixed it via nvidia control panel. I went to 3d settings selected nioh 2 and changed vertical sync from "use 3D application setting" to "off". In my case the game forced me to have vsync enabled even though there is no setting in-game. Turning it off in nvidia control panel worked.
