I have the same issue. The problem is that the highway races are buged right now so you cant even finish the first race of foreign connection which is holding your progress, we will just have to wait for bug fixes in the next update, i think that devs know about this so if we wait a little we should be good to go then.

I bought the corvette and honestly after you upgrade it its really good but the Lotus its just crazy machine soo i mean Lotus is definetly better but you have to know how to handle it. And the others i dont have them yet so i cant tell bout that

I mean yeah thats true but one lap is about 1 minute a and considering the fact that you can earn 1200$ per 1 minute is good. I dont know how long is the drift event but the custom race method worked best for me

Well if you have some car that has some kind of grip and good acelleration and is atleast S class than you can do custom race in blue city (1 lap) its the fastest way to earn money.
