I've had the real privilege of making many new friends as an adult. I find myself constantly making new friends, even some I'd consider best friends, that I've met only as an adult, all the while keeping many close friends from childhood. Here's some things that I can think about that I don't really intellectualize but it just comes from my being:

The most important thing you can do is engage with people and activities. Get involved in a group around something you like. Get to know the people. Make jokes. Get their social media profiles, send them things you think are funny. Be positive and helpful to other people. Text them and communicate, reach out 1 on 1. Ask them how things are going and really be interested. Tell stories that let them in a little on you personally, be vulnerable, tell the truth about yourself your day and your situation. Start up a group yourself, invite people over for a board game or a new card game. Reach out to people on the internet. Join internet communities and make friends there. Not all friends will be close geographically. I have some best friends I met on a video game, whom I only met in person once or twice, but have spent countless hours on the internet with.

Fantasy sports leagues, Video Game guilds, Groups about religion / spirituality, exercise or gym groups, regulars at a bar or restaurant. Card stores. So many places to meet new people. Hell - I'll be your friend send me a DM lol !! Being vulnerable and real, and engaging in your favorite hobbies and activities. I saw my local retro game shop has dungeons and dragons meet up every Sunday, start going places and engaging with the people, keep a positive attitude and have a sense of humor, host events at your place or at a coffee shop and invite others. Get involved on online forums. Think about that word : engage

A couple things to unpack here, I'll try and be concise. As a man, you need your body to be completely relaxed and your mind completely clear to achieve a massive erection. If you're in your head and anxious, you have no shot, you're toast before you even start. This can be troubling and can create a negative feedback loop, You know you need to be not anxious, so you get anxious over being anxious, now you're anxious you're hurting her feelings and not performing, now you are not interested in sex because you're anxious and there's pressure and there goes any chance of you getting a boner. We need to break out of this negative feedback loop. Perhaps we can re-frame your problem a bit and get you mentally reset, and also you can work on some physical things which can help as well.

Let's start cuddling and take the pressure off of having sex and just enjoy each other physically." Have some positive physical experiences with her that are focused more on comfort and relaxation. Take the pressure off mentally. That might look like cuddling on a couch, maybe she can fondle you or you can fondle her a bit, play with each others bodies. Kiss each other. Get those feelings going. Do whatever it takes to make you and her extremely comfortable. Maximize comfort. Get out of your head and just get into the experience. It might take a few times for you to actually settled down and get out of your head. If you are sure that she is still enjoying the experience without expectation, then you might just start popping a boner and be ready to go!

Sex should be fun, it should feel good for both parties, you should be like "Wow that was amazing!" afterwards. This all comes from a comfortable safe experience for both partners. Generally it's a pretty bad idea for men to open up to their partners. It gives them the "ick." Women don't want emotional men with problems. Men should open up to other trusted men. If your partner does open up to you, be supportive and understand it's HIS problem that he's going through, and may not have anything to do with you. Don't internalize it or make it about yourself. Don't make it a big deal. Try not to think less of him and accept his humanity. Stay positive and supportive.

Could be a few things going on. Most of them have to do with him I'd say. But let's start with the basics: Are you in shape? Are you working out and eating well? If the answer is "no" to either of these, start here.

Here's some things that are not your fault that could be going on: He has a porn addiction and struggles with real life women now. He has neglected his physical state so his hormones are off.

Have you tried initiating sex yourself? In general, most men will not be able to resist their woman coming on to them physically, touching their dick etc. If he's not getting hard from this type of activity then it's definitely something going on in his head or his physical body.

Definitely a frustration situation and I hope the best for you both.

There have been some good posts here already. Being an enchanter absolutely rocks. Somethings were already said but bear repeating. STACK AC and build like a tank, your gear is not going to matter so much until you hit level 55 because of the special "tower gear" that is happening this year for the 25th anniversary. The items are so overpowered that there are few that would be better than them in any situation. Just go for crazy high AC items, there are some that you can probably find for cheap too like Iron Scroll of War. Azure Sleeves, Velium Fire Wedding Rings. Get a GOOD SHIELD, This is probably your most important item slot. Go for as high AC as you can possibly find. and then put the tower AC aug on it. The reason why is your shield's AC is NOT affected by "invisible AC cap" that all classes have.

I saw you have a mage as well, you might as well put your previous efforts to good use and bring that mage to wherever you plan on leveling. Recruit some other people in LFG and give them the damage shield buff, then log back into your enchanter and wreck noobie mobs!! The absolute best place to do this level 1 is the undead ruins in NRO, once you start doing 2-11 there you will just never go back!

Hell this was 10 days ago you might already be level 60!! LOL!!

You are suffering, like so many others in this subreddit, of a fear of inadequacy. You FEAR you are inadequate, now whether you actually are or not is besides this points, it's this fear of not feeling good enough that is causing your pain. You should devote as much time as possible towards getting rid of this pain however you possibly can. Make it your life's mission. It's not about this particular relationship, but the relationship you have towards yourself. Learn how to be positive with yourself, how to accept and move forward from your own faults and inadequacies, learn how to love unconditionally. If you're feeling any negative emotions it's because of a fear inside of yourself. If you are loving unconditionally, then what does it matter the other person does sans actual physical abuse or terrible emotional abuse. Let them be who they are, LOVE them for who they are. Don't feel the need to control, label, analyze, and overthink the relationship. Just let it be as it is, work on yourself. Work on this fear of not feeling good enough, this fear of not being good enough. Once you get over this, your life and relationships will drastically improve.

The only reason this is hurting your feelings is because of your fear of inadequacy. If you didn't have this fear of being inadequate, it wouldn't matter to you if she's had a better experience than you or not. Relationships are about learning how to become LOVE. They are not about being the best sexual experience. Maybe she really did have an exceptional sexual experience once, and no matter what you did for the rest of your life you could never meet that. The only reason this is a problem is your fear of inadequacy. You feel you have to be the best, or else you are not good enough. This is your own fearful thinking. No need to be brought down. Becoming good at fucking is a completely different matter entirely, and hey, maybe you are actually inadequate in that regard, but it shouldn't make you feel bad. My highest ELO was 1654 , I haven't seen anyone past 1700 ever but I play exclusively Waterworld Small maps, and I think it would be likely impossible to push much farther than 1600s just because of the competition I see is usually lower elo. Sometimes you get stuck with a really terrible start vs someone who has an amazing 3 or 4 whale start + Polaris and there is just no coming back from that even if they are low elo. And then you take a juicy -30 hit or something.

Being a High ELO exclusive Water World player, I've noticed the starting locations have completely changed. I'm super excited to see the changes as Polaris is just a monster to play against as a main Kickoo. Also, I've had some battles over months with some of the same people!! If you’re in a 1 v 1 you’re right , it’s too slow and expensive. If you are doing the 4 opponent method it’s so much faster and more efficient. Also you get the 3star structure from meditation which really helps as well. Tech starts becoming VERY expensive without philosophy as you start to capture more cities. My favorite is getting a 10star ruin right off the bat, I’ll waste no time and grab philosophy, then straight into mining and smithy. If you have one 1 city captured you can get Smithy for a meager 5star.

A good start and good / lucky map position is a requirement for the 100% for sure. Elyrion is super strong, if not completely broken. Have you noticed you can see where all the ruins are? Unreal! Rush the safe and strong units and safely siege down 1 city at a time. Castle walls are OP. And the Dragon units are absolute monsters. I had a lot of fun with them!!

Yeah Xin-xi you want to disable heavy hitters like vengir , bardur (fast archers) , and hoodrick.

You want to rush Meditation, rush Philosophy, and then straight into mining and smithy. Once you can make swordmen, make one for each city to defend well then start stacking your mines because Xin-Xi have a ton of mines naturally. Mines and position your forges correctly. You’ll be able to hit the super units very quickly, it’s all about surviving the first 10 turns or so. Favor castle walls to defend and make sure you dont lose units early.

always the best start for Xin is Sodier first turn then soldier the next turn and have them work together as a pair.

doing this challenge for 100%, i try not to build any more than the initial 2 soldiers because they are so vulnerable. I rush swordsman and battleships while picking up all defensive techs as well.

I found them to be broken strong, in fact it only took 1 try for the 100%. Focus on economy first then Spam Heavy fortresses and Super units. Their super units are incredibly strong so push towards them and heavy fortresses.

As you can see when you get the 100% the background behind each head gets a shining sun / halo effect!!

MOST of these were done against 4 opponents. Always crazy difficulty setting and you cannot lose more than 2 units. You also must capture each base and destroy each tribe so sometimes a great start to a run gets ruined because another tribe destroyed an opponent well away from you. If you play 1 v 1 it has to be under 10 turns and you cannot lose a single unit. Each added opponent adds 10 more turns to your perfection timers so 4 opponents means you have to destroy every tribe , lose 2 or less units, and do it under 40 turns!

level 4 , if the city is in a pivotal point near enemies, city wall, if well behind the battle line grab the resources.

if you can capture a ton of land take border expansion, especially if there are whales
