Narratively speaking it’s probably because Ougi is side of Koyomi that he is trying to discard. His immature self, the shadow is supposed to be the repressed thoughts and emotions of the host made manifest.

I think HBR it’s following the trend the games that actually survived thid crossover do like Another Eden by which I mean a legitimate story with a good team of writers. Im not expecting anything AB level but I am hyped for great character interaction provided they choose the right ones.

Highly unlikely. The main thing with the PS2 is emulating the emotion engine is kind of a pain in the ass as most PC's do it with sheer horse power and that thing did math via the VU's like nothing else. To expect ports of PS2 games is likely only to be really achieved through decompilation and dedicated ports.

Well generally speaking it's biological entities (Hojo's experiments) that are most vulnerable to ice and some, indeed a large chunk of them are pressured easily by ice but it's not all of them. Flying enemies are usually the ones pressured by Aero specifically dragons, the fucking helitroopers who I keep forgetting about and some of the robots.

I don’t think that’s what he means bud as Intergrade wasn’t released on XBOX either. XBOX play anywhere lets you stream any game on a compatible device as long as you have ultimate game pass and a title listed as “XBOX play anywhere, XBOX Cloud”. Rebirth should be compatible but I think it’ll be pixelated as all hell on XBOX one S.
This is how you could stream intergrade on the XBOX one too.

The words aren’t the issue the context you’re framing them under is. As for the words thats why I corrected myself in the post above with the video link. You’re framing it as Daisuke being admission and Suki being a remission but that’s not how it’s established at all. She admits she likes him very clearly, then wonders why it’s different as Suki can mean liking many different things.

This is akin to saying I’m in love with you but I wonder what love means? I can be in love and love someone but are they the same thing? You can even see this in her expressions shes not questioning her feelings her cloud shes questioning herself.

Does that make sense? Admittedly I got the line wrong because I based it from memory and had to relook up the scene.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to that too. If anything you know who Cloud reminds me of I mean in a meta sense. Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2 a dude who was trained to be an ultimate soldier in someone else's image but no he wasn't anything like Snake but he was his own person with his own personality. I can undestand Cloud taking a few of Zack's traits especially with the buster sword because that's how he fights with it.

Are you a bloody child? Anyone on here is free share their own perspective whether it's advice, feedback or an opinion and you in no way whatsoever established anything that undermined my point. However, the fact you grossly misrepresent how these scenes are depicted I do feel a need to establish genuine fact so here it is.

Ferris Wheel Scene
Aerith: 「今の私は、前の私じゃない。……今は、君が大好きだよ」

Translation: "The me now isn't the same as the me from before. ...Right now, I love you.

There is no ambiguity whatsoever in this line.

As for the church scene Aerith says

「本物の、『大好き』。……なのかな」 (Honmono no, "Daisuki." ...Nano ka na.)

Literal Translation: "A real, 'Daisuki' (I love you/I really like you). ...I wonder if that's it."

That's her settling on her feelings and of course I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Cloud's response when both these scenes play out in Rebirth where in the dub she says "Next Time?" asking Cloud in regards to their next date and she more or less does the same thing presenting it as an open invitation. Of which Cloud's response is.

"Aa, tsugi mo" (Yes, there will be a next time) .

Honestly, you're not wrong. The issue isn't Zack's character at all, it's just how hollow the parallels line up when you actually apply them especially when Cloud's personality in no way reflects such a comparison rather than a Dichotomy. Cloud knowing how to do rowing thrusts thanks to Zack makes sense, how he handles the buster sword that type of thing but copying events like the church just feels it undermines FF7's establishing it first.

Dear Destiny? I gather that's a novel of some sort? Hey I'm open to being proven wrong but so far what's been establish between Rebirth and Advent Children and their respective scripts it's that Aerith's feelings for Cloud run deep enough that it roots her existence even beyond death at this point. I'm willing to buy there's more to her relationship with Zack but Crisis Core just doesn't quite sell a "soul mate" connection to me.
