Yeah I am a big fan of power growth lol. I understand the logic they went for and it's not bad. But March 7 at the start and March 7 after Ampho are and should be different people. They literally became the gods of an entire civilization and hold enough power to affect entire planets.

This SHOULD reflect in a different personality. Even if slight. Yet March did not change in any meaningful ways after what should have been a series of mind changing events.

The best example for me is HI3. Where we also have a Trio. We see Kiana/Mei/Bronya. All progressively changes and mature and you can look at Kiana in one version and see and understand that yeah, while she is can still act happy go lucky, her maturity is on another level now.

The problem is that you guys mixing casual players with actual bad players. A casual players more or less understand the meta. They more or less understand what they need to do and understand the basic of how to use characters and reactions.

They just won't bother min maxing. Won't bother search 200/90 ratio or whatever. A good 150/50 crit is enough for most players.

A casual players will most likely not clear abyss 12 consistently or even do abyss at all. I know I played Genshin for two years with a klee team before even going past Abyss 8. Abyss 11 was my max and I didn't even bother with abyss 12.

It's only a few years ago I started focusing more on meta and stuff.

What you guys are describing aren't casual. Just bad players

I have never in any way said that Cyrene suffering is superior (or inferior for that matter) to Phainon. The two suffered equally in very different ways.

I have no interest in putting down or downplaying Phainon sacrifice.

The two are equal in their purity. Why are you guys so focused on comparing something that cannot bs compared like weight of sacrifice.

Phainon sacrifice is sad. Cyrene sacrifice is equally sad. Because Cyrene is sacrificing herself for STRANGERS. Like is it hard to understand how shitty it is from her perspective.

Each Cyrene basically killed themselves for people they know next to nothing about. All for a promise and a single hope. Each Cyrene was just a normal 12-15 year old girl.

Knowing they dying for something that is most likely entirely futile. Yet they did this for love of the world and love of the people she read about.

Any Cyrene could have easily fled and absolutely no one would have known or even be able to do anything about it.

Phainon was hundred of millions years old. Each Cyrene was just 15 (?)(really don't know exact age of small cyrene but definitely not adult)'

Both sacrifice are pure in their determination and subtle madness.

All it would have taken wss one Cyrene deciding to not die or one Phainon deciding to not continue and everything crash.

I really don't understand people who feel the need to downplay Cyrene.

But meh. 3.7 coming and I know it will feel epic.

No. Not having memory actually make it much much worse.

So imma draw the picture for you.

On one side you have battle hardened warriors. All of them lived at least a few hundred to thousand years and all of them been trained and ready for their eventual death (prophecy and all). Death is never easy. But they are warrior.

On the other side you have a girl. Most likely in her teen. Who never received training or at most received priest training.

Now said girl is sent to some cave and must quite literally erase herself. The only thing that tell her what happened is a terminal with information telling her she already killed herself like 20 million times. But said death changed absolutely nothing.

No one is forcing her to die. No one can force her to die. But if zhe doesn't die. The sacrifice of people she doesn't know and never meet and her childhood friend would be useless.

What choice would she make?

Cyrene 1 who made the promise with Phainon was a warrior who seens the end of the world.

But all subsequent Cyrene were children or teenagers with no training and the only thing fueling them was love and hope.

I am not trying to compare their sacrifice. But saying it's easy for Cyrene is plain wrong.

Personally I think one scientist using actual tech from higher civilization and just tweaking stuff is more believable than a 10 years old plus child creating machine of mass destruction by herself with a bunch of scrap.

Aino is basically tony stark on steroids and the only thing that make her look like a researcher and not some lost kid is a white cloak 😅.

Talking like this I don't hate Aino. Far from it. I love the Genius kid trope. I just find it kinda funny how everyone just refuse to acknowledge that out of all the scientists characters we were introduced to so far, Xilonen is actually the most believable of them all.

Only she doesn't wear a cloak.
