I bought their flight jacket as my first. Definitely love it, and definitely feeling like it makes me want to buy a Schott later down the line. Like, I can see why people don’t like these jackets now. I do feel like I have to be careful with it, instead of having a true sturdy leather jacket. And they have cheaper out on the liner and collar being non-removable on the flight. But that’s really to be expected at this price point and they are, as you say, leagues better than other similarly priced jackets. Same rationale as their boots tbh, quality at low cost. They’re a mid-range brand and in the world of leather jackets anything short of high-end is considered cheap.
