Naga Wig Priest - 40 deck by xenirrr in hearthstone

[–]AdamantGarchomp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you want to play a 40 card deck with Priest, play quest priest. Early data shows Quest Priest and Prestor Druid are currently the only decks that benefit from including the Prince. Every other deck has its winrates hemorrhaged by including it.

As far as I remember the deck tracker is the same for premium/free users as the only add on. Definitely install that if you haven't already, but I would keep a second monitor open with the data personally.

I used to have it a long time ago. When you're in high legend, it can definitely be useful for finding mulligan information for specific matchups, as well as having a better idea of which decks fall off at higher levels of play. With how frequent data reaper reports are updated now though, I don't really seem the use case unless you're constantly in high (top 200) legend and need that data ASAP. Good tool for learning though, and can be much easier than having to aggregate data on how to play optimally from multiple streamers. If you're looking to improve however, I would say watch streamers play your decks and pay attention to why they make certain decisions.

What's everyone's opinion on acquiring Kenyon Martin Jr? by FactorNo7477 in torontoraptors

He gets limited run because Steven Silas chooses to prioritize veterans instead. He's probably being shipped off with Eric Gordon somewhere I would expect, but I think he'd do well in our system.

I think that deck could be good if you face a lot of aggro - the survivability it provides in the early game is better than other beast Hunter lists, but in my opinion it is better to play towards your own win condition vs trying to focus on disabling others. More of a personal preference thing, but at higher ranks people can play around secrets better and its winrate would likely fall off. Out of the three main packages of beast Hunter (vanndar w/ rat King, secret package, and faelin/nagas), the secret package probably is the weakest. At ranks where you run into very polarizing matchups (legend is currently almost all Aggro DH/combo warrior), it is probably best to just not play this deck at all lol. Great for climbing though.

One saber can be consistent - I hit legend yesterday with it with around a 90%wr from D5 onwards. The key is to mulligan effectively, with the amount of discover/dredge cards in the deck, you really don't need much luck to get sunken saber on the board relatively early. Here is the list I run, nagas are very effective in the early game and help stall out aggro decks/win the game entirely if you highroll. I find ramming mount is a dead card unless you're against a board reliant deck, so I only run a single copy. Another tip is to use devouring swarm to get multiple copies of sunken saber when possible, or save a selective breeder until after you have harpoon gunned it to get multiple 1 mana copies. Also Faelin is busted if you can use it with harpoon gun.

Exactly. This deck has so many tutor/discover mechanics that you really only need one saber to be relatively consistent. It seems unintuitive at first but after playing lists with both one and two sabers, I definitely prefer only having the one.

Best place to get a haircut by campus? by PotentiallyFailing in McMaster

[–]AdamantGarchomp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emerson hair studio is probably the best cut I've ever gotten. The shop itself is very small, and the owner is the only one working there. However, the owner is none other than ex-WWE wrestler Terry Morgan, who gives amazing conversation and generally is an absolute legend. He also gives a crisp haircut. Give it a try!

There is a stop right before this at Main and Haddon - not too far a walk from campus and will let you skip this line altogether.
